One Good Time in Rocky Point Mexico Open road, blaring music, and a car full of eager college students holding onto the last glimpse of summer left. The destination ahead was Rocky Point Mexico, the soul of a good time and bright red sunburns. Going out of the country is definitely a humbling experience with a lot of unexpected lessons that come along with it. It was not my first time out of the U.S., however, every new trip closes with a few things learned and information to share with others planning on taking on their own adventure across the border. I will cover my experience along with all of the do’s and don’ts while trekking to Mexico. From packing lists, good restaurants, places to avoid, and the best excursions and attractions to conquer while abroad, you will know everything you need to know about traveling to Rocky Point by the end of this review. Planning and budgeting is an essential component for any trip in my opinion, but even more so when going to Mexico. Leaving unprepared or taking off on a random spur of the moment vacation is a bad idea, that could lead you to sleeping on the beach for the weekend. Fortunately for our group, this trip was planned months in advanced, with every last detail written out. Driving into Mexico is never usually the hard part, we drove south of phoenix through heat rays and tumble weeds until we arrived at the border.
