The travel of humans in space started in the early 1960’s and was beneficial to the world. For instance, technology, the economy, population, and culture has significantly increased. The film shed light on the technology in the day, but they’re a few questions to be answered after viewing. NASA and the space program had an influence on growth, economy, and culture. In Part 7 of the film “Space Jobs Support a Growing Population,” it conveys that people are needed to make the systems or machine function. According to this section, more than 26,000 people got jobs from the space program. Also, the film states it boosts the consumer market. The location near Cape Canaveral increased in population, ‘more than tripling in ten years’. In Part 8 “Swimming, Surfing, Fishing, and Boating in Brevard County,” the area near Cape is a populated and good tourist destination filled with beaches, water sports, and …show more content…

So, the space program boosted Florida’s culture. As for the economy, the sudden boost of employment also boosted the economy and financial state of families. To conclude, the space program had a large influence on Florida’s population, economy, and culture. Secondly, the film was meant for a specific viewing audience. This audience was Floridians and Americans. Also, it was made for future generations like today. For the people who viewed this film decades ago, it was made to show them the boosting technology. Additionally, it was made to show them how far they’ve come making space devices. Americans have came together through the space program to make population and economic growths or development.
