The narrator's age shapes their point of view by giving the audience a lesser understanding of what is happening and fewer opinions on what is about to happen, which allows suspense to build since the audience does not know what the big finish is. In the Big Finish, the narrator is a six-year-old who is on Mars and left their home planet they call "Terra" over 5 years ago. Something called the big finish is about to happen on Terra, and the entire family meets up to see it. Due to the narrator being younger, we are left in the dark about what the Big Finish is and do not get a deeper understanding of what is happening. In the story, the narrator describes, "The lady is in a small box in the corner of the screen, with numbers counting down below her, and the rest of the

A critical issue that is shown in chapter 40 is that Huck and Tom are still naive and immature. Throughout the book they had to act like adults meaning they had to be more mature because they had gone on an adventure by themselves, which forced them take up more responsibilities. However, towards the end of the book it shows how they are still highly immature and naive and think they can easily accomplish things no matter how challenging they are. For example, in chapter 40 the boys believed that escaping with Jim would be an easy task. However, they were caught multiple times throughout the chapter resulting with Tom getting shot in the leg while trying to escape.

1. This story is most definitely timely. In terms of the book, the story falls into the category of The Big Time. This story falls in this category because it takes places not long after the shooting but it then continues on to the time after the shooting when the average population has seemingly gotten over the shooting and shows that the victims need more time to heal than the general public.
