There was these people that had just got done partying and decided to go for a walk and they got so far and turned on what they thought was a road and it was actually a long driveway that led to a huge castle and they said well we came to a dead end and the other person said well why don’t we find out if anyone is in this castle and if not why don’t we party some more. But come to find out a bad person lived there but they turned it into a tour house. Well what they don’t know is that the people who turned the house into a tour place likes killing people. So the people decided to go and knock on the door and no one answered but they tried the doorknob and the door knob was unlocked and they went in and looked around and still found no one the people who own that house decided to hide behind the house in the garage where all the saws and tools were and the people still walked around the house and finally they were all back together in the dining room and all of a sudden all the lights go out and they look
As I went to William Floyd Estate, I was aware of how to appreciate the historical person’s house. Not only the houses, I could appreciate the landscape surrounding the houses and imagined how actually lived there. Not only William Floyd Estate and Sagamore Hill, but also other historical houses are not just physical buildings. They contains history of that time period and lifestyle how they lived. Therefore, as they have been being preserved well so far, we need to be responsible for good and let more people visit there. Moreover, we need to preserve it with minimal repair and

My community service learning at Renaissance retirement home has being so amazing. At the facility, they have a mission statement which centered on the ageless spirit. “Celebrate the ageless spirit of people through services and innovation” The employer’s responsibility is focused on activity of daily living to the residents as well as nurturing their mind, body and ageless spirit (wholistic care). Renaissance retirement home has value for their residents. These are respect, integrity, compassion and excellence.
Take your audience back in time by using Southern Mansion for your stage production. This panel features a distinct architectural design, making it a great addition to shows like Mame, Tom Sawyer, and Gone With the Wind —all of which are set in a specific period in history.
The hall to my memory looked the same as it did when I last visited. A Georgian Mansion pleasantly situated on a plot of rising ground and standing in a park of some five hundred acres. I stop to admire the architectural style of the hall- stalling from my preposterous errand. Of a style too bare and unadorned for present taste, it makes an impressive over-plain effect when seen from the S.W.

Gibson’s Estates is a Mobile Home Park (MHP) with limited resources. Heritage Mobile Home Park is its sister community---both parks are owned by Mr. Gus Gibson. Many of the youth in this community are eligible for free lunch, live with multi-generations and/or extended family, and have limited access to transportation.
It’s an outstanding manor with beautiful grounds which bears a 250 years old Oak tree along with many different kinds of exotic plants. The tour through all the rooms, 14 in total didn’t take very long. The land and the house bears the history of three consecutive generations. One third of the house is organized with furniture from the Maney family and the rest is from that time period. We started at the chamber of Dr. James Maney who built the house after his wife, Sally Hardy Murfree inherited the land from her father Colonel Murfree, after whom the city of Murfreesboro was named. We then moved to the parlor of the house. It had 2 parlors, one being the dining space and the other being an entertainment room for special guests. The latter was an addition by Lewis and Adaline Maney, who resided in the house after Sally died in 1857 and later inherited the house from Dr. Maney. Adaline was the daughter of former Tennessee governor Newton Cannon. She was already accustomed to
Baroque art encompasses a broad range of art from Dutch genre paintings to dramatic and theatrical Italian pieces. Because of the religious, socio-economic, and political events of the time, Baroque art can hardly been contained into one description. Politically, the rulers and monarchies used commissioned art to emphasize assert their authority, power and right to rule. Religiously, the Reformation caused the Catholic Church to commission provoking pieces of piety and devotion. And Socio-economically, the rising middle class in many areas of Europe wanted pieces of art to further improve prestige in the social scene and improve their reputation. These three developments that came with the transition from the Renaissance age to the Baroque
These houses are in most parts of the town, but they are mainly found along the railroad of the paper mill. The houses are very old they were built in the early 1900s for the workers of the paper mill and their families. The houses were built close to the paper mill to give the workers easy access so they would not have to worry about transportation to and from. There is not an alpha boulevard in my hometown it may have use to been many years ago when the city was “booming”. I have not seen any gentrification of my hometown. Most of the town is run down and I don’t see reason for gentrification because they are not many business opportunities.
Today, the elegant tree-lined streets are home to many historical homes and heritage houses. As a closet history buff, strolling along The Crescent in Shaughnessy is one of my favourite fall walks. Curving streets, wide boulevards, incredible architecture and inspired landscaping transport me to days of yesteryear. During my recent visit, I paused for a moment to enjoy the peaceful setting, and I could literally picture carriages drawing up at the grand entrances of these stately homes. In my imagination, I envisioned staff bustling to welcome the arriving guests and I pictured myself dining in one of the elegant dining halls. If only these grand mansions could
The one-of-a-kind residence was originally built in 1930 as a log cabin and the 14.6 acres of woodland and pastoral hills were used as a hunting ground. In 1998, the home was replaced with the current 5,400 sq ft luxury property residence. The enchanting luxury cottage is nestled
The article explains that the building of Chaco house is used for residential purposes, and provides three competing theories. However, the professor expanse that the houses were not use for residential purposes and refutes each of the author’s reasons.
Our day was coming to an end but we had made just one last stop to Central Park. Around the 19th century the city had doubled in size and it was developing into the city we know today. Immigrants were forced to move into tenement buildings and the city began to see an influx of people in the streets. The city realized it was time for the city to change and so they bought 700 acres from 58th to 106th Street in order to create a new park. We began our stroll around the park and visited the Conservatory Garden. The garden is known to be the only formal garden in the park. The garden is also divided up into three distinct formal gardens: English, French, and Italian style. We had a chance to visit the English style garden. The garden was absolutely
