Long ago, before people came and tainted the Earth, the sun and the moon would hover together in the sky, admiring the beauty of Earth. The sun's rays illuminated the mesmerising landscape, while the moon's craters could capture the sweet aroma of flora and the melodious sounds of fauna. The moon would speak to the sun of what it sensed, while the sun's light allowed the moon to see. The two were a pair, like trees and leaves; or fish and water.
Astronomy is probably the most ancient natural science in the history of the world. It is the study of celestial objects, such as planets, moons, stars, galaxies, and comets; in terms of mathematics, psychics, and chemistry. Earlier civilization studied astronomy by observations, whereas, now the focus is more on the physics and chemistry of the celestial bodies.
I am reading a book called The Empire Of The Summer Moon. This book is about the Comanche tribe, when reading this book it makes me realize how much the American government has done for its people in the past. Which honestly in my opinion insnt very much, it's always been the people of this nation that has gotten us through the hard times. This book shows the charisma, boldness, and strength of the American people during the mid 1800s. I enjoy this book greatly because i am learning about my heritage and where I came from and what it took for me to get here.
To Kill a Mockingbird takes place in a tiny southern town in Alabama in 1932. The tiny town of Maycomb was home to deep rooted racism. The children soon learn the harsh truth of their little town and lose a childhood full of innocence. In her novel To Kill a Mockingbird, author Harper Lee foreshadows a loss of innocence through the symbolic significance of building a snowman, a harsh fire, and a mockingbird.
The civilization of the High Middle Ages was discussed in chapter 10 of the book “Culture and Value: Survey of Humanities, Volume 1”. The civilization was lasted from 1150 C.E to 1300 C.E and centered in the city of Paris in modern day Europe. Their main focus is to search for synthesis or to articulate all knowledge systemically. Their central belief system was Christian religion. Their system of government or political system is feudalism. Feudalism is a form of government that had its primary focus on holding of land. Moreover, feudal society is hierarchical, highly static, and organized. Each classes obey the classes higher than them. The system of feudalism is important because it was a form of government that had been used from medieval

The Earth’s moon is over-sized. It stands out as an anomaly when compared to other moons. The Earth when compared to all the other planets in our solar system has an over-sized moon. By comparison, Jupiter’s many moons, which have different physical and orbital characteristics, seems much smaller. It seems as though the Earth and its moon were a binary planet, with two objects orbiting around each other. Our planet-sized moon is unique in the solar system. For us, the battle-scarred moon serves as the Earth’s guardian angel. Its vast gravitational pull raise the tides and breathes life into the Earth’s oceans. The moon also stabilizes the tilt of our planet and regulating the climate and seasons. Without the moon, humans may never have
Stories, for decades, have recounted cultural and personal experiences and have passed cultural values from generation to generation. In ancient times reading was reserved for monks and highly educated people therefore, townsman congregated around orators to listen to stories, poems, or myths. Over time, the way stories are told have changed. In the Middle Ages nobles organized sizable parties in Mead Halls where townsman gathered and listened to minstrels sing about epic tales. One reason why stories were told in song was to entertain the public through hard times. Life in the Middle Ages was not always easy and pleasant, meeting in the Mead Halls served as a way to forget about the hardships. The idea of telling stories through songs still

City of the gods, temple of the sun and moon, these names sound like places out of an Indiana Jones movie, however the idea had to come from some place. That place is the ancient city of Teotihuacan, Mexico. Teotihuacan is found north-east of Mexico City in the flat plain lands of the Mexican valley . Named by the Aztecs who found the abandoned city, they marveled at the massive scale of the buildings and the city itself. The only reasonable explanation the Aztecs could provide was that gods had made the city. Little did they know that Teotihuacan was a bustling city that was around from about 150b.c.-750a.d., and a population as high as 200,000 .Teotihuacan is massive in scale for the ancient world, dispersed over an area of approximately 20 square kilometers. This ancient place is a perfect example of a city, it has a high population, a well thought out street system, early factories, and massive temples which towered over the land scape. The architecture and general environment set Teotihuacan apart as at least the crown jewel of Mesoamerica.
The Four Seasons are known as Solar Festivals, in that they mark a seasonal change caused by the Sun. The cross quarter days are marked by Fire Festivals and are usually celebrated as significant agricultural festivals. Together the Solar Festivals and the Fire Festivals make up the Wheel of the Year. The Wheel Of The Year, is often broken into eight festivals, whether they are the eight Asatru Blots, Seasonal Festivals or Celtic Sabbats, and the observance of Solar energies at the solstices and equinoxes and the Fire energies on the cross quarter days, is a common theme throughout the world.
Changes in the magnetic field of the sun affect us here on earth in a number of interesting ways. This magnetic field is caused by the flow of electrically charged ions and electrons on the sun, and if it didn't exist, the sun would be a much more boring star. The 11-year cycle of the sun's magnetic field accounts for many of the cool features of the sun: sunspots, solar flares, and aurora borealis. At the beginning of the cycle, the magnetic field is weak and there are very few sunspots; later, at the peak of the cycle, the magnetic field is strong, and there are many sunspots. Sunspots are relatively cool areas that appear as dark patches on the face of the sun. They occur where magnetic field lines are
