Sustainable Development The key for future generations Sustainable Development Definition Although there are many definitions about what sustainable development (SD) is, the most widely accepted one, is the one stated by the Brundtland Commission in their report ‘Our Common Future’ (also known as the Brundtland Report). They are working towards a vision called ‘zero waste’.
