Swarthmore College is a private tasteful sciences school arranged in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, 11 miles (17.7 km) southwest of Philadelphia.

At the ending of 2064, the war between Minnesota and Wisconsin had finished with a very bad ending. The war had destroyed everything and families were left with nothing. Everyone struggled for their survival. Other states did not want to be involved in their crisis, so they left them all helpless. Since everyone had lost everything they had owned, they had to start over and relocate. If they start from where they had ended, it'll be extremely tough. Everything had changed and nothing was the same. As a result of the war, this is how the society of Swynhollow came to be.

British history from 1600 to 1650 wasn’t the best time of history for british people. Britain had a society from 1600 to 1650. From 1600 to 1650 Britain’s government had kings, queens, laws and punishments for outlaws. Britain also had wars religiously, politically and militarily during that time too.

It is my opinion that HBCU’s certainly do remain not only relevant, but also necessary. HBCU’s were originally established due African American’s pursuit of an education and the acquiring a piece of the “American Dream” was thwarted by racial segregation. HBCU’s provided our young men and women with an education and developed future leaders. The very essence of their existence bestow black people with a positive identity, a safe nurturing haven for learning where their expression of emotional, mental and spiritual being need not be altered, changed, distorted or parodied for the purpose of assimilation to another’s race, culture or socially acceptable standards.

OU’s Sooner Schooner – much like Purdue’s Boilermaker Special or Georgia Tech’s Ramblin’ Wreck has been the official mascot of every sports team at the university since 1980. Kaylee Swenson is a fourteen year old girl, soon to be fifteen. She is a kind, bubbly, fun person. She is a good person and a good student. She is also an artist and musical fanatic.

Thank you so much for this opportunity. Skidmore is one of top schools that I am interested in and I have been wanting to visit it even more since our last meeting. I am truly grateful for this chance to have an immersive experience, so once again thank you for making this possible. In terms of transportation, I think the bus would be the best option for me. Engineering, to me, is a field that requires the application of practical and scientific knowledge for the better of humanity. The more knowledge gained allows for greater power. I have reason to believe that Swarthmore is one of the better colleges to provide me with the best education and provide for me all that is needed to succeed. The Sojourner House was by far the most enjoyable field trip that I have gone on with my Human Rights and Global Justice Class. Right when we got there the worker had us do a role-play scenario of the actual routine homeless people face when coming to the Sojourner House. First, we all got dealt a card; the reason for this is to let people in, in a random order so it’s not always the same person first. When we lined up inside, we all got breathalyzed and then we put our belongings in a tiny bin.

The death of Aaron H. Swartz is a tragedy on many levels. First, because the life of a promising young man, and contributor to society, was needlessly cut short. Second, who knows how far this young man’s innovative mind, vision, and abilities could have gone towards improving the quality of life for the people of our current society? And third, because what happened to him, can and does occur to many others. Clearly, in his case, our government went on a witch hunt due to pressure brought on by wealthy and powerful organizations. Exacerbating this situation, most of the Congressmen supporting SOPA and PIPA had no real clue as to the dangerous and chilling affects that those bills would have created regarding access to the free flow of information on the Internet.

I have been always interested in shared learning and experiences with people around me. The availability of a global exposure to a multicultural and multilingual group at Swarthmore will definitely enrich my skills to be open to people from different parts of the world. I believe Swarthmore is a platform from where I can channelize my potential and talent and make it productive and constructive for me, my family, society, and eventually to the entire world.

Based on my observations I was able to conclude that social norm concerning SJSU rapport among its students is abysmal. SJSU wasn’t meant exemplify the stereotypical party college attitude that most colleges tend to foster. Most students don’t seem care or act strong about the ideal of social interaction and intermingling in SJSU. Variables such a financial condition, education background, and simplicity in general have influenced the social atmosphere of SJSU as lax and mundane. This isn’t to say that students at SJSU are antisocial but it’s seems that most people tend to care about simplicity than deal with the extra burden of maintaining more relationships and spending more time than they can afford on campus. Pulitzer Prize-winning Edith Wharton used her own life as a privileged American citizen as the basis for such aristocratic novels as The House of Mirth and The Age of Innocence . Wharton’s travels in Morocco were the subject of the aptly titled travel novel In Morocco. Wharton’s haggard married life also influenced her writing. She was very disappointed with her loveless marriages, and frequently wrote about other women trapped in depressing marriages. E.A. Washburn, a family friend and cousin to Ralph Waldo Emerson , heavily affected Wharton’s education . Washburn encouraged education for all women , and specifically praised Wharton’s literary efforts. I started this essay a month ago today, and I still feel like it is not right. There are so many things I want to say that relate to why I want to attend this program but can't find the right words to explain it. The closest I can get to explain why I want this opportunity so bad is that I have focused my whole high school experience around one single dream, going to college. When I was 7, I realized my difference from other kids; we all wanted to be something or someone, but becoming a princess or a superhero wasn't what I wanted; I wanted to learn, I dreamed of being like my teacher because she was the smartest person I knew then.
