1. Executive Summary
This research document is basically a marketing plan about me. In this research document I shall be using measures such as SWOT analysis, 4Ps and objectives. These process will also help me to analyse my strengths, these strengths will play important role in my own marketing in the job market. I also took personal traits test that helped me understand my own personal traits that normally I never emphasised on.
My target market is marketing and communication industry, which is basically a business to customer market segment. I am planning to work in Gurgaon, which has great opportunities and excellent infrastructure. I am planning to work as a public relation manager in marketing and consulting company. Strengths and attractiveness of the industry are also analysed with the help of GE matrix.
2. Situational Analysis (SWOT Analysis)
SWOT analysis is important as it provides much more information than just strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, it can help in summarising and analysing the market audit. This works effectively when one wants to step in the job market. Honesty and objectivity are important in the process of self analysis, it is important to analyse personal strengths and weaknesses honestly as it is going to play important role in personal development, it also has a critical role in this marketing plan.

As described in figure 1, The strengths and weaknesses of the SWOT analysis are internal factors , and can be controlled directly by the organisation. Elliot, Rundle-Thiele, and Waller (2010) describes these strengths and weaknesses as those attributes of the organisation that can help or hinder in achieving its objectives. In figure 2, the strengths portrayed for Foxtel in the SWOT analysis are vast in comparison to it’s weaknesses. This paper is my personal SWOT analysis. The SWOT analysis discusses four specific categories to evaluate a project, situation or in my case my personal and professional life (Hay, Castilla, 2006).
