In my wok placement there are two large books contended with all policy and procedures that apply for the residents at countrywide care home, Wallace view. All policies relate to legislation but I will discuss the policy and procedure of moving and handling as within the home there are equipment such as hoists, moving belts and stand aids that all staff need to use when trying to move a resident for example from a chair to the bed as they physically cannot do this independently. Additionally the person who is the moving and handling instructor; a senior care assistant, must keep staff up to date with relevant changes to an individual’s mobility and to give staff correct training where necessary (Operations Policy, Moving and Handling). Lowe’s was originally founded in Wilkesboro, North Carolina in 1921 by Lucius Smith Lowe. His daughter Ruth inherited the store in 1940 after Lucius passed away. She then sold the franchise to her brother Jim. Jim partnered with Carl Buchan in 1949 under the management of Buchan. Jim and Carl had several disagreements as far as the expansion and diversification so in 1954 the partners split making Carl the sole owner. He successfully expanded the business to other cities in North Carolina. Then he passed away in 1960 leaving the store to his executive team of five people. They made the company public in 1961. The former headquarters for Lowe’s was originally located in Wilkesboro, now located in Mooresville, North Carolina. The once small town business has expanded to a well-known name brand is currently located in several countries.

Was on a family trip to Erie to see the Lake Erie, surprisingly found Sen's restaurant in Erie, and we decided to try it out, and we had a wonderful experience at there. The servers were all friendly and all professionally dressed, the food items seems to be very fresh and they also tastes great, especially combined with multiple choices of soups that go with them, the chef seems and also turned out to be a very experienced Michelin 3-star chef, although it was kinda shock to me that they actually have a Michelin chef work for them. The atmosphere was wonderful, and dining area is busy but well maintained. Top 1 choice of Erie Chinese food after all. Keep up the good
