I have researched almost thirty international and native Japanese universities offering programs for foreigners, yet Temple University Japan is the school that appeals to me the most by providing Communication Studies and Art degrees as well as Japanese language certification; All of which I plan on studying if given the chance to attend TUJ as a Japan Admitted Bachelor's Degree seeking student. In addition to providing an attractive curriculum, I also admire TUJ's massive amount of clubs and events that encourage students to network and connect with one another in order to obtain important career connections for the future that will last a lifetime.
Ever since I was little, it has been a longtime dream of mine to be a famous independent cartoonist and create comics and animated cartoons, but now that I am older I realize that it is exponentially difficult to make a living wage off of art alone. However, communication studies is an important fast growing market in an increasingly coommunicative world that will provide

Christopher St. Clair, a foreign language teacher of over fifteen years having had experience in teaching both Japanese students English language, and American students Japanese language. Mr. St. Clair in particular has been fueling my passion for Japan and Japanese language through the stories he's told and the informational videos and instruction he has shown me and my classmates. I learned about TUJ through a TUJ Admissions Counselor, Ms. Kelly Nuibe, who visited my Japanese language class in early 2015. Ms. Nuibe was an amazing guide in talking to us about TUJ, as well as informing us about Japan itself. If I am allowed to attend TUJ, I would love to talk to Ms. Nuibe and thank her for introducing me to such a life changing opportunity. Really, if I never met Ms. Nuibe, I would not be writing this essay or applying to TUJ; And for that I am sincerely
“How JROTC has prepared me to be a better citizen of the United states of America”. JROTC has prepared me to become a better citizen by teaching me how to use leadership skills and be able to cope with subordinates. It also has prepared me to be a better citizen by showing me what the 7 army values are and what they mean. Some of the army values are respect, honor, integrity, and personal courage. JROTC has showed me how to do things different from the way I thought things should be done and how to march and be able to keep a company and platoon together when marching. Since I know a lot about the JROTC I am able to help other people become better citizens like I was taught. I am also a better citizen because i have the discipline not to do certain things that I did before I took the JROTC class.
From a young age, I've had the dream of moving to and immersing myself in the culture of a foreign country. Being able to live and teach in Japan would allow me to fulfill this dream while also being in alignment with the goals of the JET Program. I have the long-term career goal of becoming a literary and media translator of Japanese, and think the program offers a unique opportunity to not only meet and communicate with native Japanese speakers, but also to have a firsthand experience with the culture of Japan. I believe being able to exchange ideas and languages with people from a different background will be both personally and professionally enriching, as well as facilitate goodwill and a sharing of cultures between countries.
TaQavea Searcy (11) throws a softball back to home plate during fall workouts. “Softball workouts are fun,” TaQavea Searcy stated. “They prepare us for the season and Mrs. Kallam is great. When Norse F. Rabalais who was born and raised in Simmersport, Louisiana (Avoyelles Parish) was a child there was no navigation lock to lower ships to the Mississippi, the water just poured out, ships with it, and flowed into the distributary known as Atchafalaya. A lot of parishes above New Orleans and quite a bit north of Baton Rouge (Louisiana’s capital) there’s a navigation lock in Mississippi’s bank allows ships to drop out of the river. Because of nature, they drop up to thirty-three feet then can go west or south. This is something very strange and rare between the river and its adjacent terrain. That adjacent terrain is known as Cajun country. The local parishes are Pointe Coupee Parish and Avoyelles parish.
The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, UBCJA, is a labor union that advocates for worker rights. Founded in 1881, Peter J. A mysterious and strange malady arrives in the small American town of Abida which can be found on an island off the coast of the New England region. The island is somewhat isolated, most political matters are handled locally between it's people, this is due to the islands history. The people of Abida are the final result of successful human amalgamation between slave and owner with many of which who still holds on to their eccentric ancestral beliefs that revolve around "the old ways". This causes many to rarely visit or leave the island and as a consequence Abida is flung into a realm of enigma lying beyond the fringes of the New Englander's conscience. Without the aid of the mainland however, the disease, which is referred to locally as "scourge" takes large sections of
In the beginning, JROTC was established in 1916 when Congress passed the National Defense Act. The main purpose of JROTC was to motivate young men and women to be better citizens. This all started in Norwich Vermont. Not much has changed since then. Their mission before is still the same as their mission now.

A significant moment in my life is the day I had the good fortune of meeting with Temple University, Japan Campus representative, Nathan Crowne at Santa Monica College’s College Fair last year. I was immediately connected to Nathan and his enthusiastic introduction of TUJ. TUJ’s affordability is most remarkable to me because as a low-income student it will support my financial situation and allow for me to pursue my goals to travel the world, become multilingual and become an attorney. Ever since I met with Nathan, TUJ has become my number one choice for transfer. I am writing in hopes that you will favorably consider my application.
