“The Iroquois Creation Story” tells the ancient myth when only two worlds existed. One, in the lower half, complete darkness filled with monsters and the other, the upper world, filled with mankind. There, in the second world, a women conceived twins. As her labor intensified she fell closer and closer to the lower, darker world. While in distress the twins were born and “entered the dark world by compulsion”. Only a few moments later the women fell to her death. As the twins grew older they possessed different minds. One was the good mind and the other was the bad mind. The good mind used the parent for his initial creations. Around the head, an orb was created to “bestow light to the new world”, now known as the sun. Another orb was placed around the body which was “inferior” to the light, now known as the moon. He also created spots of lights to connect the day and night which are now know as stars. All of these were created to help “regulate” the days, nights, season, years, etc.”. The good mind continued his creations by creating animals, oceans, mountains, insects and mankind.

The creation of the world in Islam's perspective begins with Allah–God creating the heavens and the earth all within six days. He then created the sun, the moon and the planets with each their own term of existence. Allah created the entire universe with water as well as animals. After doing so, he created the first man–Adam from clay. God then told his angels–including Shayṭān (the devil, who was the only angel made of fire) to bow down to Adam. All of the angels obeyed except for Shayṭān who refused to do so, claiming that he was more powerful because he was fire and Adam was made of clay, which caused Allah to become conflicted with the devil thus banishing him from heaven. Shayṭān then decided to create hell to challenge God's people (humans) and influence them to go against God and go to hell instead of heaven. The second human created was Eve aka Hawwa that came from Adam’s right rib, she was a mate for him that had the same nature and soul. Before Adam and Eve lived on earth, Jinns (Allah's creation of spirits, similar to genies) used to live on planet earth. Adam and Eve were banished to earth after eating a forbidden fruit that the devil influenced them to eat.
The stories which humans tell about their origins are always cherished and held in high regard. In fact, no culture has existed which has not created or attempted to create some story of origins. Every culture has had some means in which to say this is where we came from. Especially in cultures where religion found itself prevalent, the mythology of origins became not only a status or anthropology but also a theology. In which case, we find that Christianity is not alone in this struggle, though our struggle may be unique in kind.
In the beginning, there were seven clans of humans on earth. The humans were weak,

Human identity and where we came from has been shared in Genesis (1:26) when God states “lets create them, man and woman in our own image” Paul reiterates the identity of humans and our relationships to each other, when he shares that humans are the descendants of Adam and Eve. He speaks on how sin passed down from generation to generation and that God turned humans over to themselves and their wickedness (Romans 1:26).
How were human beings created? How has life come to be? How was the earth created? These are some very important questions that humans have tried to answer for ages. In an attempt to answer these questions, different cultures around the world developed different beliefs. Some believe that they are many gods watching over them, while others believe that there is only one supreme God. Some believe that humans were created by an explosion while others believed that a God or gods created them. Today, I will be analyzing two different creation stories, Genesis, the Christian creation story and “The Creation and Emergence” story by the Jicarilla Apaches. While some differences between the two are evident, the similarities are noticeable.
