Developing a sales plan and creating sales forecasts are some important aspects of leadership, and it needs to considered when developing a financial and operational plan. Delivering a plan to provide new community service, such as community urgent care facilities are a key initiative. The ultimate goal of Taylor Healthcare, Inc. is to provide medical services to the community throughout their life. Tulsa Memorial Hospital (TMH) is one of the nine acute care hospitals that serves in the general population area. Historically, it has been highly profitable due to its well-appointed facilities, excellent medical staff, good-standing reputation for quality care and its ability to give individual attention for each of its patients. The hospital, in addition to its inpatient services, operates an emergency department and an urgent care center located two miles from the hospital across the street from a major shopping mall.
The England that the seventeenth-century migrants left behind was undergoing dramatic changes, many of which stemmed from a rapid rise in population that began early in the sixteenth century. As the population grew, the economy altered, social stratification increased, and customary modes of political behavior developed into new forms. England’s ruling elites saw chaos everywhere, and they became obsessed with the problem of maintaining order in the evidently anarchic society around them. The large-scale migration of English people to America can itself be taken as an indication of the extent of these changes, for never before in the century-old history of European expansion had more than a small number of male adventurers chosen to emigrate
Alamance Regional Medical Center employed Shakira Kea PRN for the past two years. I have worked personally with Shakira over a year, not only as a co-worker but as her supervising charge nurse. This department was saddened by the news that Shakira was leaving, but knows she will be an asset wherever she goes.

Trinity Community is challenged with two current healthcare trends. The first trend is related to Medicare and how doctors are paid on Medicare claims. Medicare’s primary coverage group is for people older than 65 years of age. Medicare also covers some people under 65 that have certain disabilities as well as people of any age that have End-Stage Renal Disease. Year after year, lawmakers have been trying to fix a part of the Medicare law that would cut payments to doctors. Since the late 1980’s, the cuts would continue to grow annually and eventually exceed a 20% pay cut.

Many people believe the 1995 film, Pocahontas, to be the true story of a young Powhatan woman. However, the story lacks facts. Pocahontas isn’t even her real name. Matoaka, the real Pocahontas, faced mush more misery than the movie showed. Mataoka’s life in America, life in England, a comparison between the movie and real life, and how fictional portrayals of real people effect society today will show you that Disney’s inaccuracies could change history.
Communication is only effective when the receiver understands the message conveyed just as the sender wanted to. There are opportunities for improvement in the areas of communication network within Baptist Memorial Healthcare. I have observed a breakdown in communication between nurses and the patients they are caring for. A lot of times the nurse companion phones that the nurses are issued do not work properly. In this instance, the nurse is unaware of patient’s specific needs. There is not a direct line of communication to inform the nurse that the patient needs assistance. The organization is aware of this fact and is implementing training on new nurse companion phones, so that; the needs of the patient are met in a timely fashion. There

My first goal in the future is to obtain my Master’s in Business Administration from Bethel University. Achieving this goal will ultimately open many doors for me in the consultant field. I do not want to leave the practice I am currently working in. I have been on my job almost since conception; therefore, I would like to stay with the company and watch it grow from here. In the future I anticipate nothing but success. However, I do know that becoming successful does not come easy. I am prepared for stumbling blocks that may come my way. I envision myself being a successful consultant for Taylor Healthcare Consultant (THC) group. I would travel the world helping other practitioners reach their highest potential and making sure their office is running efficiently. To help secure my future I will use the P.O.W.E.R Learning as a tool to help guide me along the way.
