Another reason in which I agree with …. that community college is a real college because its classes are as challenging as university’s classes. People usually thought that the classes in community college is easier than the classes in university, but that is not true. For example, my sister had a friend who is passed the physics class in university with an A, but when my sister got stuck in a physics question that she did not know how to solve, she asked her for help. However, her friend did not now how to solve that question either and she was surprised that question was hard as university level.

On the other hand, there are plenty of reasons that cause students to go to college is to end up financially stable. Going to college almost guarantees you a decent paying job after you graduate. Another reason that causes high school graduate students to go to college is to get a new change of scenery.

A respectable college education gives people the advantage to lead themselves in any direction they want to proceed in life. College is a time that students can truly become individuals. They have the opportunity to become more independent and to take on new responsibilities. The bonuses of a college education include more self-confidence, greater economic stability and security, and it makes you a major contributor to the greatest nation on earth.

Today, many students are settling for jobs immediately out of high school instead of furthering their education in college. Students should consider how necessary college actually is for their lives in the future. The path to success has been remodeled over the years by different generations due to the developing mind. College does educate and challenges people to do more and think more. We can clearly see this example because the developers of this debate are both college graduates. Later on in life more and more questions will be asked and answered. College has an importance that is so popular but that importance has a value. The developing world and society will always view college as something necessary no matter what because is has proved to be a path and a escape to a better life. People that have specific circumstances and cannot pursue college have often been denied of a huge opportunity that can be life changing to almost everyone. No one can judge intelligence based on economical stability or tests, but what the educational system seems to be judging intelligence on is the bank account of the projected student. There is a saying that says "If you think education is expensive, try ignorance." But as technology is constantly advancing and computers are running almost anything, is a college education really necessary? There are people whom have never set foot in a college and are doing better than people who have their master's degree. There are views from both sides that contain a valid argument.

Why is college so important? A few years ago, most people only obtained their high school diploma and would receive any job in the market, but colleges have become the twenty-first century key to success. Jobs are now being given to those who are more educated and college provides this extra education. It is not the same as high school. High school education consists of a more general knowledge, which is a small amount of information about all the topics, but college is focused on the major. College graduates have more comprehension in their area than those with a high school diploma. As President Theodore Roosevelt once said, “A man who has never gone to school may steal from a freight car; but if he has a university education, he may steal the whole railroad.” (Chicago Tribute). His point is that the more educated a person is; the higher goals they can obtain. College is the best way to succeed because it provides more education about deeper knowledge and moral value. It also opens up more job opportunities, and practical knowledge about the discipline and enlightened understanding.

When selecting a college, people decide on how good the schooling is and the programs, but another factor with choosing a college is either going to a four-year school or going to a two-year school. Both of these have their advantages and both have their similarities. Students always need to think about cost when choosing a school, as well as, education which should be a big factor in their choice. Then, there are little differences that are mainly based on the student’s choice, education and extra-curricular. Students have so many things to think about and every little factor can shift them to either side. But, allowing them to choose freely is the greatest factor.

Students should go to college because they are more likely to become successful in life. College is good because you can get the career that you always wanted instead of being forced to work at mcdonalds. Also if you go you can invest into a business for example a shoe brand or a clothing brand. Students should go to college for the education because if you have an education you're more likely to not end up being poor or worse being homeless. Although college is very expensive, many students are not able to afford to go college.

There are many characteristics, factors, and style features that are considered when building or adding additions to a college. Mid- nineteenth century many colleges were attacked by educators, politicians, and writers, stating that the “traditional college was irrelevant to contemporary needs” (Turner Campus, An American Planning Tradition, 129). It was established that the traditional colleges were out of date and with a democratic reform there would be changes to the traditional college that would lead to a new method of collegiate learning and open doors for higher education.

In my opinion, getting the education, learning new things, experiencing diverse cultures and customs, getting prepared for the future career, improving job position, subject matter interests and social status are the main reasons for people to attend colleges and universities.
