Formal Definition An iPod Touch is a personal entertainment device "engineered for maximum funness," according to the Apple Corporation (Apple, Inc. 2013). The device can be used for anything from surfing the Internet to playing games. Capacity for storing music, video, and other data is either 32GB or 64GB. At less than five (4.86") inches long and just over two (2.31") inches wide, the iPod touch is like a computer that fits into the palm of the hand. It weighs just over three ounces, and charges easily via its own wall plug or a USB connector to a personal computer.
