Technology has made a huge difference in the world since history, and it has been a reason why people are more social. In the old times since the 1960’s to the 1980’s many people didn't knew where many things came from or they didn't knew how it was made or know anything about technology. Until, in the year 1440 printing press came as a form of technology to people that allowed them to write news on newspapers and inform the people many things about what was going on in the world and how many things were created. Whenever WW2 came that was when technology started to develop more and it helped many soldiers create bombs and destroy houses and become more powerful. In advantage it didn't helped them enough to win the war which is a good thing. One of the most useful transportations that was used in WW2 was the railway also known as a train that was created in 1804. It helped transport many jews to the concentration camps whenever WW2 started. …show more content…
These items helped a lot through history transporting plants and people to different places. Today we still use the automobile to travel to different places and go wherever we need to as well as the train. The technology changed in medical history with the weight masser that was used later in the 18th century. It now helps nurses and doctors know how much kids and adults weight. Another big change that we still use today is the computer that was created between the years 1936 and 1938 by a German named Konrad Zuse. It now helps doctors determine what type of sickness a person has and what could cure it. The data consumption helps a nurse analyze a patient's report and file a patient's treatment
The technological advances made in the World War II were amazing. We gained a lot of new understandings in technology. The Rocket Team that made the missiles that terrorized the streets of London helped send a man to the moon. And the weapon advancements were high too. The weapons that were discovered are still helpful to this day.
In the 1940’s during World War II, technology had presented an importance to ensure success on the front. There were a wide range of scientists outside the military who could make things like this possible. When the war was ending, it had been discussed that lasting peace may not be guaranteed for the future. People in the war department of the Military and in other sections discussed the need for “private organization to connect military planning with research and development decisions” (cite
In the start of WWII that nations came up with many ways to communicate to each other without being intercepted by the enemy. Some ideas/inventions used during World War II included foot, mounted, motorcycle, automobile, airplane, homing pigeons, and the messenger dog. Along with physically going to deliver a message they also had made visual messages. Which included flags, panels for airplanes, lights, and pyrotechnics. But when they didn't want to use those ways to signal messages they would send the message electronically. Which included telephone, telegraph service, and the printing telegraph.
World War I, also known as the First World War, the Great War and the War to End All Wars, was a global military conflict which took place primarily in Europe from 1914 to 1918.[2] Over 40 million casualties resulted, including approximately 20 million military and civilian deaths.[3] Over 60 million European soldiers were mobilized from 1914 1918.[4] The immediate cause of the war was the June 28, 1914 assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, by Gavril Principe, a Bosnian Serb citizen of Austria-Hungary and member of the Black Hand. The retaliation by Austria-Hungary against Serbia activated a series of alliances that set off a chain reaction of war declarations. Within a month, much of Europe was
World War II was and most likely will be the largest and most great war to ever appear on this earth. Although it brought so much death and destruction with a striking total of over 60 million deaths, it is also the deadliest conflict to ever have happened as well. Out of all the horror that was WWII it did create a lot of advancements like the boost in advancements in technology. As well there were great social changes in the United States. Also there were significant boosts in medical sciences. There were economical advancements in the United States. Finally there were advancements in world peace never seen before. Though war should never be defined as good, World War II created many beneficial advancements for the United States and the world.
What particular innovations and occurred during World War II and what geographic considerations were necessary for planners and politicians in terms of strategy and tactics?
Yet and still, technology has given us many advances over the years. From the typewriter to the printing press, technological advances have made life easier and convenient. We might not see the benefit in the present moment, but eventually it’ll all become clear. For example, objectors of Gutenberg’s 15th century printing press argued that the easily accessibility
Technology has existed before world war one, be as it may the technology during that time was not high technology. However after the world war, one technology and science astoundingly stormed after which helped speed up the process. The number of death and motilities are the main reason for why technology needed to improve. Technology developed rapidly because Canada was in need of efficient weapons. Especially in the flight, wireless communication, accurate engineering, and application of electric wire and gas. A man born in Edinburgh, Scotland Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone in Branford, Ontario, which indeed change the lives of Canadians. The machine brought Canadians closer to each other and became part of their daily lives.
With the Revolutionary war a memory and burgeoning technical advances in the works the people of the United States looked forward to unlimited economic growth and prosperity. However not all Americans would benefit equally if at all.
William Pollard once said, "Learning and innovation go hand in hand. The arrogance of success is to think that what you did yesterday will be sufficient tomorrow." Maybe the generals of World War 1 (WW1) should have been told this when they used cavalry when they were outdated and rifles and machine guns were the weapons of this war. They found this out the hard way which sparked the time of technological innovations and changes that was WW1. The three technological innovations I will write about are machine guns, planes and tanks.
Most wars have numerous examples of new technologies developed as part of the war. A war that clearly demonstrates said developments is World War II. In fact, WWII is noted as a

Technology has played an integral part in shaping society in many different ways. Throughout history, technological inventions have changed everything from the way humans are clothed and fed to the very ways we communicate and interact as a species. Examining the effects technology has on society illustrate both how technology shapes culture and society and how society can affect future technology. This can be seen by examining a few of the major technological innovations in human history followed by a look at a new technology and how it may shape future society.
Insurgent technology though not as advanced as the military technology was arguably more effective. The insurgent’s use of ingenious bomb technology was extremely effective against the U.S. civilians, U.S. soldiers, and the Iraqi people. It was effective against U.S. civilians because it made them want the war to stop so that the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan would leave, which is the goal of any insurgency. “A bomb’s ability to destroy a target depends on two things: its explosive power and its accuracy.” (Kaplan, 13). While the U.S. military was using satellites and lasers to accomplish this, the insurgents were using simpler means which created the same results, and since they often did not care about hurting civilian
Today, the world is much different than it was fifteen years ago, much less fifty years ago. The progression of technology has been even more significant than ever before in the last several years, but has ultimately lead us astray from our core character. The production of cell phones, social media updates, websites, and technological tools is constant, but these new and improved technologies have left the world with very few longstanding advancements. Though the internet has brought the world innumerable innovative opportunities, life before technology was much more efficient, filled with many more promising benefits: responsibility, socialization skills, and controversy.
