School Programs: Teen Parents
How many schools offer programs to teen parents? According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg school board, they do not offer any programs for teen parents. Not having any programs can be hard on the parent because they will not have the support they need to help them graduate on time. The teen parent will drop out and will depend on getting their GED later on in their lives.
Having to give the child your undivided attention. Even though some people believe that schools should not have programs for teen parents, I believe that they should have more programs for teen parents because teen parents face many difficulties, it will help the teen parents graduate, and school programs will teach the parents life skills.
