Technology has been involved in people’s lives forever, especially in the Millennial Generation. This generation consists of individuals born between the years of 1982-2004. The articles “The Flight From Conversation,” “Teens and Technology 2013,” and “Leading The Charge For Change” deals with teens interacting with technology today.Each article has different topics, but they connect through the over dependence of teens to technology. The Millennial Generation becomes less and less in touch with the real world and morphs into a quasi-reality.

Susan Emeagwali tells that there are seven sub groups for the construction of a Millennial(Emeagwali). The seven groups are Special, Sheltered, Confident, Team Oriented,Conventional, Pressured, and Achieving. The author wrote the article to the Millennial Generation and to other people to inform. Emeagwali wanted to tell the generation is a whole different breed from previous ones.
In this article “Teens and Technology 2013” by Pew Internet & American Life Project shows statistics between teens internet access and teen and tablet ownership. Now these days most teens are online. The article says, “Fully 95% of teens are online” (“Teens and Technology). Internet can be accessed through cellphones, tablets, and mobile devices(“Teens and Technology). The younger the age group, the more use of internet occurs. Pew Internet & American Life Project wanted to show facts and graphs on internet use for teens. The information could open people’s eyes and see how much teens are using the devices with internet.
The world around uses too much internet. Teens are way too involved in the cell phones and electronics. If there was a cut back and restriction people could focus in school and be more efficient. There is not anything wrong with technology,but as a whole it has become a problem. Technology makes teens want things more quicker and fast. The
