Mary Temple Grandin, also known as Temple Grandin was born August 29th, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts. When she was younger she was different from the other children and they made that known. They called her a number of name but some are: "Retard" and "Tape recorder". Temple was diagnosed with a form of autism called Asperger's Syndrome, where she had a lack of speech and sensitivity to touch. She has made a change not only for the cattle and pigs but for the slaughterhouses and meat processing plants.

Temple acknowledged the problems in the world and decided to solve them and that takes someone not only who preservers but someone who is conscious of their emotions and listens to them. Christopher is not at all like Temple in this sense,

Temple Grandin’s occupation as designing cattle equipment is a job that is complimentary to her autism. Her ability to “see” the design and visually construct and test the equipment before having it built gives her a huge advantage over the competition. Her error rate must be next to nothing. Of course her process of inventing equipment or improving a piece of machinery that has already been made may be easier due to the way she completes the scientific method.

I hereby write in regards to admission into Grand Canyon University. As a matter of fact, I chose this particular university based on its Christian values as well as the excellent students it has produced from the wide variety of quality courses. The start of this journey in implementing multicultural education begins with the educators. Preparing teachers to use the education principles is a dilemma facing childhood programs. Training requirements differ depends on the state but the NAEYC provides a set of standards that require “culturally, linguistically and ethnically diverse teaching materials and methods” (Larke, 2010, pg.2) for all child care facilities. The population of all ethnics are increasing, “the demographics change so are the demographics of children in early childhood programs” (Larke, 2010, pg.2). A vision of the NAEYC is having the commitment to respect the “dignity, worth and uniqueness of each individual” (Larke, 2010, pg.2). This vision is very important and empowering because this statement can be said many times but it takes hard work and dedication to achieve success. Larke depicts the positive principals of NAEYC. Learning and development occurs through influenced social context and finding a way to engage diverse families are great impacts in the community.

There was actions and symptoms that did portray autism spectrum disorder really well, but there was also times where it seemed like she didn’t have autism but schizophrenia. For the most part autism was accurately portrayed so I do think viewers would get an accurate sense of this disorder and I think this would have a hard impact on viewers due to how intense Temple’s autism is. Viewers can come away from this film and see that all disorders aren’t the same. They have different diagnostic criteria levels and think and communicate differently. Temple shows viewers that you can accomplish things even when others think you can’t. Just because of her autism doesn’t mean she can’t have it all and live like one without this

She helps people peek inside the mind of a person with Asperger’s syndrome - which facilitates good communication and better understanding. She demonstrates the importance of pictures in the mind of autisitc people and how powerful their visual skills can be.
