TENNESSEE IS THE BOMB. My first summer vacation to Tennessee. My uncle, brother, auntie, and I all went… On my way to the waterfall I had to go through Rock City and over a long bridge. While I was crossing the bridge I started jumping and moving the bridge side to side. When we were enjoying the waterfall it started to rain. Once it started raining I was spinning all around in the rain, then I realized that my uncle and them left me. So I started running. After it stop raining I saw a deer hiding under the bridge. After I left the waterfall I went to go get on a train called “The Express”. On my way to the train station we pasted “Little Red Riding Hood Street”. That reminded me of the book. Once we got to the station my brother started
I could hear the gurgling of the water coming through the dam. Suddenly, I was blinded by water then felt cold and wet. Then I heard the laughter of my mother and aunt. I tried to keep from laughing but I couldn't hold it
On this day it was hard to get out of bed, so I had to use my window seal to pull myself up and all I could see was complete darkness throughout my house. Then I heard someone yelling “Lizabeth!” and I looked out my front oval window and saw my Marigolds all smashed and ruined. So then I opened the window and all I could smell was the newly developed smell of dew and my smashed Marigolds. Finally, the yelling stopped for a second and then I could hear a little boy crying and saying, “Lizabeth, stop, please stop!” So I walked out and saw a little girl in my Marigold garden. So I walked up to her and she got really scared and just stared at me and I think she was just trying to recognize who I was because it was pitch black out. Then she recognized
The next Monday coach gave us practice off so I headed home again. That night I went over to my brother's house and borrowed his shotgun because it had a fully rifled barrel with a scope. This gun was much better than mine. While I was there we talked about where he had shot his deer and where he had saw other deer. I headed home that night with little hope that I would actually get a deer at all. It was really cold when I got up the next morning. I headed out to a spot near where my brother shot his deer. As I walked out the snow covered ground crunched under my feet. I got set up in my spot and settled down for the wait. I was sitting there for about forty five minutes when I heard a noise.
One glorious morning my grandpa and I got up bright and early. We got ready and headed into the woods to prepare for our deer hunt. We walked through the brush as quiet as possible so that we would not spook any animals in the area. On our way to the hunting spot, we stopped in a couple areas to take in how beautiful the view was. Once we took the view in we kept moving toward our hunting spot. Finally, we reach our hunting blind and we get all set up for the hunt. My grandpa and I sat in the blind and talked quietly about how we hoped a deer would come by soon so that we didn’t have to hunt all day. About twenty-five minutes into the hunt I hear a faint noise come from behind me. My eyes lit up with excitement hoping that when I turned around
We were walking down the step path in the rainforest of Puerto Rico. We spotted a dad and his daughter and started to talk them. They told us that their was river up ahead with some rocks you could walk on. We had a small conversation with them and then parted our separate ways. We decided to go check out the river.
The Quad at the University of Alabama is about 22 acres of lush grass and intertwining sidewalk, but from my vantage point on the steps of Gorgas Library, I can’t see a sliver of green or grey. I’ve never seen so many people taking part in Elephant Stomp, a pregame tradition where the Million Dollar Band and the cheerleaders (along with Big Al) get Crimson Tide fans ready to cheer on the football team as they beat whichever team has traveled to Tuscaloosa today. The football team here is the most infamous of all the sports programs at the university, but certainly not the only successful one. A sharp whistle cuts through the air and my eyes snap to my drum major just in time to see her call “Yea Alabama!”. I throw up my sousaphone, and a few
First, me and my family go to Tennessee every year on break and we stay for about a week. We always go to Tennessee on break and we always stay in the same hotel because they have a nice pool and free delicious breakfast. We also go shopping and go out to eat and we always ride loud go carts together in Tennessee. It's special to me because we get to spent time together and celebrate some of our birthdays. Them are some of the things that we do in Tennessee.
The state is also home to one of the nation’s best parks, Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Here, visitors can camp, mountain bike, run, hike, rock climb, and partake in nearly any outdoor activity. An entrance to the park can be accessed 35 miles away from Knoxville, and this would be an easy trek to make with friends from the University of Tennessee. Throughout high school, friends and I would take trips through the south, Utah, or Arizona to experience the great outdoors, and visiting Great Smoky Mountain National Park would be a great opportunity to continue the tradition of backpacking in the summer. Backpacking is also economical, because it is easy to stock up on cheap food and camp out at night.
I was at home and a heard dad my talking about. The lake of legend and it is said that the water gives life To good people. So I told my dad If I could go and he said no. So at night got out and sow a man he said that I need to be strong so if I run into a wall or something I could get through. So he gave me a new name and it was Strong Sebastian and a got strong. And am hand were strong enough to break a wall and rocks. So I was on my way on the way I met a man named Max with a broken leg. So I give him a new name good leg Max. So then he gives me his wheelchair. So I am on me way to the lake of legend. I pass a store and get food and wen I get out I see. A boy named Jay and his hand is broken so. I give him a new name and it is strong hand
After that we sat in silence for about 20 minutes until the cold began to nip at my feet and the tips of my fingers which made me very restless but I tried to do my best so I would not scare away the deer. When we hit the 60 minute mark I was bored out of my mind, I thought I would go crazy, but suddenly my Father grabbed my coat and pointed out Words the west side of the field that we were watching. I
It was a normal day for me I was walking home from track practice and and then It happened Justin and his friends start to walk by I put my hood on look down and pull out my phone so I don't look suspicious But it was to late they had already engaged me and at that very moment just did not even say anything he just started running right after me and then I started to run to. It started to rain but I kept running The rain started to comedown profusely i decided to look up to the sky and in my shock a cloud was stirring and the lightning was a rainbow of colors I knew I needed to find cover but I was running on the highway. I decided to just keep running. And then it happened my life went into slow motion as I fell to the ground…
We then set off to the blind before the trophies come out. As I was walking to the blind I could see my breath. As the sun set over the leafless trees, we began to start hearing some life throughout the woods. Although the movement we have heard has not been the trophy we have been looking for it just keeps my heart pumping. We have probably been in the blind for about 5 hours so we decided to go grab something to eat from the truck when suddenly we heard heavy footsteps right behind our blind which is where the door is. I creeked the door open and what I saw made my heart go a million miles a second. 3 doe stood behind us creeping around. They seemed very sketchy so immediatly we closed the door and waited for them to come around to the front of the blind. The day got so much better knowing that there are deer in this area. Even though they were doe we still had the thought in our mind that a trophy buck might just pass through here looking for a mate. We watched the deer walk about 30 yards in front of us for about 20 miniutes but by that time i was ready for a buck to come through here. It was hard to sit still in the blind because there is old about 5 feet of room in there and I slighty moved my feet
I woke up around 6:30 in the morning and I realized I had not eaten in days and I was starving. So I went out and started looking for something to eat, but I couldn’t find anything, then out of the corner of my eye I saw a rabbit so I jumped for But unfortunately I missed and the rabbit hopped away. So I went back to the camp, and I sat there and I was thinking how was I going to catch any animals then it hit me.I started out in the woods looking of a curved stick and eventually after looking for one for about twenty minutes I found one I tried to break it but it was to hard so it was a good stick. So I started walking back to camp when I got there I took one of my shoelaces and tied it to the stick the shoelace was nice and sturdy so I knew this was going to be a good bow.
As I stepped out of the car I could feel the blazing hot concrete. I ran to the cool relaxing water. My mom took out the towels and the cooler out of the car and set our spot up on the smooth, dry, and crunchy sand. As my 2 year old sister got her princess floaties on I saw a 10 foot cliff jump spot. As I walked up the steep, slippery, and light green mossy rocks. As I got to the top I got nervous, at that very moment somebody did a belly flop. While they did the belly flop I saw some pebbles fall of the 10 foot cliff. As I stepped up to the edge of the 10 foot it looked like a 15 foot cliff. As I jumped of the cliff I did a cannonball, as I was doing a cannonball I felt all of the air blowing in my face, I opened my mouth
In a panic I raced out of the small household our family used to rent and ran to the city well. I threw a rock down but heard no splash. Then I realized that I had seen no one since I had left the house. I had a thought but
