This makes the company look good and they can afford to do this from good financial skills. Decisions like this make a good profit in the long run and all in all this is why it is so important to have a good management team.
Tesco have also created a website called “tescofarming.com” for the purpose of sharing knowledge of produce and improving communication in the supply chain.
Employees
Employees are essential to a well-functioning business and to provide quality service to consumers. It is important for the business to care for their staff, making sure that they are happy with working conditions etc. and this is right up there with the importance of financial matters, because customer service is another key to returning customers, and if there is not a happy worker then there won´t be good customer service.
The productivity of any organization depends on the satisfaction of the employees, as happier employees also make more profit as they work faster and harder.
Tesco now employs half a million people around the world, making it Europe's biggest private sector employer.
Employees need the financial information in order to make collective bargaining agreements (CBA) with the management and in discussing their compensation, promotion and rankings.

As an organization works towards satisfaction of its employees and provides them with opportunities to grow and perform better, it forms positive attitudes in their minds. Studies that have examined the relationship between employee satisfaction, productivity and financial performance show that:
In this study, I will examine the research analysis concerning the correlation between employee satisfaction and their productivity within the work environment. Various theories and research models will be used to validate or disprove the theory of a happy worker is a productive worker. Ultimately, the employer’s role in building and sustaining a healthy organizational culture will be analyzed and reviewed.
According to Yee (Yee, Yeung & Cheng, 2008), companies strive to become better in order for them to reach their goals and objectives. This is also the main reason why the public or the government sector is continually developing and innovating strategies which will give the employees that sense of satisfaction in improving their performance. He also added that having satisfied employees who do their work, present a higher probability of behaving and doing their job more efficiently. By innovating ways on how employees can feel satisfaction on their work, it is also a way by eradicating factors that can cause dissatisfatction.
