Tesco has been leading the UK market over the decade with continuous growth in profit and sales. In 2011 Tesco Plc achieved 5.5% higher sales than 2010. In 2011 Tesco achieved £ 44.6 billion sales and £ 2.5 billion trading profit in UK market. The sales growth of Tesco for UK market is 9.5%, 4.2% and 5.5% in 2009, 2010 and 2011 consecutively.
