5. Test Drive
After evaluating the papers and choosing the Car one can take the car for test drive along with the sales representative of the showroom or seller. One can either bring along a driver or a car expert to perform the test drive so that lacking of the car can be identified while driving. Before the test driving while Standstill you must:

1. Inspect the Tires; Check if the tires match the size & brand of the car.
2. Look under the car for fluid leaks; Check while the engine is off, and again with the engine running.
3. Check the Car Body Panel; Squat at the front corners of the car and look down along its sides for ripples that might indicate body repairs.
4. Check the Windshield; Look carefully at the windshield. Note any chips, scratches or other damage. Some chips and star cracks.

After checking the previous mentioned point it is time to take the car for a drive and check for other issues. Either the car can be self driven where one can drive by himself or the car can be driven by an expert on behalf of the buyer. While Test Driving the following matters should be considered:

1. While test driving at some point make sure to drive the vehicle above 60 miles per hour. Many front-end problems aren't detectible at lower speeds. Then check for any front end shake, shimmy or vibration.
2. Check for vibration of the steering wheels at any speed.
3. Check for odd noises while accelerating from a standstill.
4. While accelerating check if the vehicle pulls to one side or the other. At an empty parking lot or somewhere where there is no passerby let go of the steering wheel at 20 miles per hour or so and see if the vehicle is pulled to any side.
5. Check the Transmission for smoothness.
6. Apply the brakes; check if the pedal feels squishy or rigid. Also check if the vehicle pulls to one side or the other while
