Even within our own community, we face constant obstacles and roadblocks. Many of the young black women in Dorchester are exposed or even experience things such as, but not limited to: Rape, Prostitution, pimping, drug dealing, gang banging, addiction, thievery, and even death. Furthermore, this creates a sense of hopelessness.
