To whom this may concern, I am applying for the Textbook Assistance Program because in the past due to my employer being flexible with my work schedule I had no difficulty paying for my books and daily expenses. However, recently my employer is not as flexible and decided to cut my hours to down. As a result, I can only afford part of my living expenses and it will be difficult for me to get my books at the moment. I really want to continue my education and be able to achieve my dream of having a degree but at the moment it seems extremely difficult for me. I would be really thankful if I could I could be part of the Textbook Assistance Program. Thank you for taking your time and considering my application.
Sincerely,
Edith De
I wanted to thank you again for allowing me to be a part of the HBCU Pride Summer Institute. The experience was enjoyable and enlightening. Since this experience, I have seriously questioned my career goals and direction. In fact, I really miss our quarterly self-assessments. They really provided a roadmap for growth. I also love working with Gina. She is awesome. I feel inspired, just as I did with Dr. Gamble, to stretch myself and knowledge base. I want to do more.
At this point of my life, any financial support will be appreciated because I do not get enough financial aid to pay for my tuition and my books. As a AB540 student, I do not get enough support from the financial aid department at San Jose State University. As a result, a 3,000 scholarship for my education will help me a help me a lot to pay for my school tuition, which is $ 4,000 for 5 classes that I take each semester. The $ 3,000 scholarships will help me breathe for a little bit because I am always stressed out about my financial situation, which limits me from buying the require textbooks for some of my classes. I must say that in some occasion, I do not buy the require textbooks for my classes because they are so expensive and I do not
Thank you for taking the time to review my application for the Stanley Linton Scholarship. I am a senior at UW Oshkosh and have been involved in many areas of music on campus, including starting the a cappella group in 2012. Over the past 3 and a half years at UW Oshkosh I have been a choral & general music education major and have developed skills and philosophies that have shaped my goals and aspirations in life.
Traci is a student in the fall semester at Tyler Junior college. She is from India and still very new to the American Education System. English is not her first language, but she is extremely grateful going to college in America and having her childhood dream come true. After all, her green card is still in process and she is unable to get a job or get any kind of funds to help her with her education. She has to pay for all her expenses out of her pocket, which is very difficult, given her current financial situation. Fortunately, Tyler Junior college offers an installment tuition fees, which helps students like Traci to go to college. She depends on the library for the reserve textbooks without
I am interested in the Health Information Specialist position that I noticed on the Mayo Clinic Jobs website. I am a University of Wisconsin – La Crosse graduate with a major in Biology – Environmental Science and a minor in Microbiology. Since graduation, I have worked for the La Crosse County Health Department. Most of this time was spent working in Vector Control where I was part of a team that regularly sampled for mosquito larvae and treated the areas accordingly with larvicide. We also spent a great deal of time canvassing cities and towns in various counties for urban mosquito habitats, such as tires and containers. We then were able to inform residents about the risks of vector borne diseases. To gain more experience in other areas of the health department, I worked as an Environmental Health Assistant. In this position, I helped the Sanitarians by regularly sampling and inspecting
First, congratulations on nomination as President of The West Virginia Bar Board of Governors. A prestigious position, for a minority female.
Your recent posting indicates that the University of Saskatchewan is seeking a formal report writer who is "responsible for conducting research and then writing quality formal reports." When I saw the advertisement, I leapt at the opportunity to apply. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree, applicable work experience, and a strong command of written English, I am an ideal candidate for the position.
I am writing this letter to apply for a hairdresser job. The advertisement stated you were looking for an educated and friendly employee for the position. I believe that I have the experience and qualities to be an excellent candidate for the position.
This is to inform that I have received information that the home where Mary Kate was supposed to be residing 4550 Teasdale Street with her Resource Parent has not been certified due to the fact that Mary Kate and her Resource Parent, Ms. Heidi Boggs, moved to different locations. Later, Ms. Boggs informed me that she assisted Mary Kate with obtaining and apartment located at 3054 Richmond Street. Although I was able to see Mary Kate at this new place, I informed both, Ms. Boggs and Mary Kate that this was not part the court agreement nor was this an approved SIL apartment.
This letter is to appeal the impending action of dismissal, so I may continue to pursue my degree in Sports Management at Benedict College with Federal Student Aid. The reason I have not been able to be the best student at Benedict is because during my sophomore year, I battled with depression and I had trouble trying to adjust with time-management skills. This affected my attendance to classes and my wants to move forward with my life and academic studies. Also, I had the wrong overall picture of college because I procrastinated a lot on my studies and that reflected on my grades.
I highly recommend Allison “Ally” Baccus to receive your consideration as a student athlete for your scholarship.
I am writing to express my interest in the Student Research Assistant position for Southampton Hoteliers Association. I apply for the job following a job posting listed on the association's website on January 1 this year.
I’m currently a new student at Highline community college who is trying to keep up with the fast pace and pressure of college. I want to be successful and pass all my classes with good grades but, I know I can’t do it all on my own. All the resources we have available to us as students are very helpful such as tutors, counselors, and financial aid advisers and I intend to take full advantage of all the resources available to me. It’s very important to me that I pass my classes because I am paying out of pocket, unlike most students who are on financial aid, or scholarships. It’s my first time being back in school since I dropped out of high school 2 years ago so I am facing many challenges
