The 100 by Kass Morgan. This is the name of the interesting book that hooked my
attention undeniably. The reason for this is because this novel had topics I was interested
in such as Dystopia, Post-Apocalyptic situations, conspiracies, romance, and suspense all
in one. And on top of that, The 100 was going to be adapted into a TV show on The CW
which even made me more thrilled to read it. I found myself engrossed in this story,
amused by the characters and plot.
Morgan writes the story in each perspective of all four characters (Clarke, Wells,
Bellamy and Glass). Every chapter has a flashback that reveals more about the character
as is progresses. The novel is set 300 years after a cataclysmic event occurred, crippling

Morgan’s book begins by describing the four main characters and the logic behind
their circumstances. She states, “His father would have an easier time believing that
Wells had been carrying out a dare. Or perhaps…try to pretend he had been on drugs.
Either of those scenarios would be more palatable to the Chancellor than the truth—that
he’d risked everything for a girl.” The reader could relate to this situation in that one

Tree” which was the only tree that came from the Exodus. He did this in hopes of landing
in confinement and being sent along with Clarke the rest of the 100 down to the ground.
In the end of The 100, Wells decided to build permanent wooden structures to
protect their camp from danger. The fire had destroyed their tents but fortunately, most of
their tools and the medicine had been spared. “Just then, something streaked past his

The higher that they climbed, the stronger that they could smell the jet fuel and smoke also, the building began cracking, cracking, and moaning. They were shocked by how calm most of the civilians where many of them patted the men on the back and said, “ God bless you.” and “ Thank you.” Jonas saw more people with severe burns the men had taken their jackets off and covered up women whose clothes and skin had been burned off.

For the most part, the novel was very enjoyable. One aspect of it that I loved was that the storyline was extremely intense, which always compelled me to find out what would happen next. For example,
The foragers soon helped themselves to whatever they pleased, sometimes leaving civilians without enough food to survive the winter. They set ablaze many homes, outbuildings and fields when they were done ransacking them. The local residents hid anything of value in the woods and
The cover of this book caught my eye and I wondered what it was. When I saw it I thought to myself and I said I would give this book a chance. I flipped the book over and I started reading a paragraph about the book. It had a lot of details and it was describing the characters very well. A good book for me is one with a

“I couldn't joke about the person who'd saved me from facing absolute heartbreak at home, who fed my family boxes of sweets, who ran to me worried that I was hurt if I asked for him. A month ago, I had looked at the TV and seen a stiff, distant, boring person-someone I couldn't imagine anyone loving. While he wasn't anything close to the person I did love, he was worthy of having someone to love in his life.”
Kass Morgan’s The 100 is set three centuries after a devastating thermonuclear war on Earth. Humanity, now living on spaceships in outer space, is currently facing another life-or-death situation – scarce resources. In order to save the Colony, one hundred juvenile delinquents including the four main protagonists Clarke, Bellamy, Wells and Glass, will be sent back to Earth to accomplish one mission: inhabit the Earth once again. Despite evident technological advances, a hierarchy in the Colony is still apparent thus leading to its division into three different ships based on social classes: Phoenix, Arcadia, and Walden, from rich to poor respectively. As the book progresses, the point of views are switched between the protagonists, including

From the very first paragraph of the narrative, I noticed that there were several details that the narrator mentioned that required further, deeper thought. For me, this is what made the story appealing.
