The seven habits of highly effective people by Stephen Covey is a self-help book for all kind of people.It is based on personal experiences and it gives us tips or suggestions for how to better our lives.Many of us want to be effective in our lives and one day we hope to achieve our goals,but we are not willing to analyze our own standards.Covey uses real life examples as well as his own experience to uncover a life full of prosperity.Furthermore, he gives ways to solve problems and approach them in a daily basis. Covey starts off by giving his own definition of the word Habits which is "The interactions of knowledge,skill,and desire."This shows the different tools that we need to have to get to our goals;to be successful in some way.Habits one,two and three have to deal with being dependent of other people to becoming independent; in other words, our own person. While habits four , five and six are focused more on teamwork, developing our oral communication skills and collaborate with others.Finally, habit seven concentrates more on taking all of the habits and combining them to make of ourselves a new person; a successful one not only in our jobs or schools but in our lives.
