In order for a leader to be a leader he/she must begin with the assumption that you are the one who matters most. As a leader you have to possess that level of confidence in yourself that you are capable of leading yourself “before you can lead others”. And when you develop this belief then you are better able of affirmative influence “on others”.
You must get clear, crystal clear, on exactly what it is that you want in life. The first step to success begins with the clearest vision of exactly this, what you want. This can shift. As we grow and evolve, things change. Desires change. What you want may change, which is ok, that’s fine, and that’s good, change is good, but you’ve got to stay clear on this vision.
The ability of a person to work well with team members is the foundation of any good work environment. Understanding one’s role as a member of a team, and then using that role to enable the team to be productive is of great importance. Personally, understanding my own strengths and weaknesses is the key to being able to develop as a team member. I feel we need to know where we come from, what we value, how we interact with others and what we can contribute before we can know how and where these attributes can be applied.
Throughout my journey as a human being, I have found values such as respect, love, self-awareness, integrity and responsibility. There are many goals that I hope to achieve in my life. These are goals that I know are vital in my life in order to succeed in my professional career and personal life. I am very optimistic that I will reach these goals with an action plan that I been developing over the course of my interpersonal skills class. My personal mission statement is “to be a man focused on God, and always support my family financially and emotionally. I will do this by finishing my career and find a better job once I complete my bachelor’s degree.” The purpose of this paper is to analyze and develop a plan that
My mission statement for myself is very simple. I will finish my college degree and my next associate 's degree at Vincennes University. While I am college, I am going to be working part time. While working, I will be saving money each month and putting that money into a saving account. When I am a couple months from graduating, I will begin looking for job near my hometown. I would prefer to work in a diesel technician shop in Jackson County, Indiana. I then will use my savings to make a down payment on a house for my wife and I. We will then start working on the family, the vehicles, and the toys we want in life. I will then finish working on my goals that I have not finished yet.
Everyone around the world has a mission in life. We all have a set of goals that we strive to achieve. This goal is normally a mission statement. My mission statement ties into why I want to go into my future profession.

My personal mission is to constantly strive to be the best overall person that I can be within my personal and professional life. My goals are to inspire and help others and myself around me to achieve greatness and a balance that will maximize our potential that will transcend the boundaries of our dreams.
A personal mission statement is a philosophy or creed that one plans to follow in daily life. It is usually designed with positivity, purpose, and with personal goals for every aspect of life such as career, finances, etc. It also focuses on personality traits that one would like to possess and the accomplishments that one wants to achieve, both short-term and long term. It also houses the individuality of the person writing it. Every person writing a personal mission statement is will produce a different statement. This is primarily because people value different things, characteristics and have different goals. The purpose of this paper is to explore my mission statement (Covey, 2013, pp.113).
Stephen R. Covey’s self-help book is an influential communication for personal change. He advises building from the inside-out and offers a plan for moving from dependence to independence and then to interdependence. The inside-out approach starts first with one self, which includes paradigms, characters, and motivations. To improve relationships with others, we have to first improve ourselves by putting character ahead of personality.
My personal mission statement is as follows: To be a positive and influential person in society while still being myself at all times.
An individual’s effectiveness in the workplace often depends on his/her personality, attitudes and values, along with his/her motivation to succeed. Concurrently, the perception, attitudes and values of colleagues in the workplace play a role in determining the individual’s effectiveness. Understanding these characteristics of employees can be very crucial for organizations to operate successfully. At the same time, it is essential that employees understand the values associated with the organization in order to avoid any conflicting feelings toward the work they are employed to do. By recognizing and appreciating each other’s characteristics and constraints, employees and the organizations they are part of, form a highly-beneficial
Countless studies and meta-analysis have been done on the effect of the individual personality on success, whether it be within the workplace or an educational institute (ETS, 2016).
