1. The Aborigine experiment was made by Kerin O’Dea, a nutritionist researcher. The experiment isolated a group of obese and sick persons from civilization in Australia for seven weeks, where they can’t find any processed food; they eat only what they hunted. The purpose of the Aborigine’ diet was to see the effect of staying away of modern diet in short term on what it’s called “diseases of civilization”, such as diabetes, insulin resistance and triglycerides. The result of this experiment showed a decrease the weight, the blood pressure, triglyceride level and amelioration in metabolic function. Therefore, this experiment gives us hope and shows clearly that the harm caused by the modern Western diet could be repealed in short
