Some previous articles have conclude that their is an advantage in political corruption but in the end proved that corruption is a severe illness of the society around the globe. Some may see their own advantages in corruption but the word corruption itself defines its dark intentions. There are a lot of effects of corruption in economy, society, tourism and for the individual citizens of the country which are all negative.

According to the article "The Impact of Corruption on Regime Legitimacy: A comparative Study of Four Latin American Countries" of Mitchell A. Seligson of University of Pittsburgh stated that corruption, studied by economists have reduced "investments" and slowdowns economical growth. In the article it is said to be that corruption in politics happen when the budget of the government is out.
