Q.4.Oral Communication Oral communication means expressing Information or Ideas through human language. It is a process of verbally transmitting information and ideas one individual or group to another. Oral communication can be Formal or Informal. Formal communication takes place through the formal channels of the organization structure along the lines of authority established by the management. Such communications are generally in writing and may takes any of the forms, policy manuals, procedure and rule books, memoranda ,official, meetings, report etc. Advantage of this type of communication is its help in the fixation of responsibility and maintain of the authority relationships organization. Same as advantages there are some disadvantages in this type of communication, such as generally time consuming cumbersome and it leads to good deal of distortion at times. Oral channels of communication are flexible, easy and pleasant to use. Also simplify and facilitate the transmission of information between people working in different subject. Some of the disadvantage contains, oral communication are not open to everyone. It established researches have access to good network of contacts, but these usually to be time cultivate. Oral communication can lead to misconception because the information is incomplete. So that it is difficult to maintain and therefor result to unstable.
