(Brown, T.) We need to be cognizant of the results of this however. The same ethnic as well as social issues society faces are faced in sports. Our sports play a huge role in the daily lives of families all across the United States for both blacks and whites. The same can be said for playing or following sport teams. Sports can bring families together creating support among siblings and parents and in-laws. They may allow more family bonding while traveling to practices and games. The family may also use the game time to unite with other families and even create life long friendships. Its great enjoyment for everyone, or is it?
