From 1948 to 1994, South Africa encountered segregation and ill treatment of its own people deriving from its own national party also known as apartheid, an all-white government. They sought to move the South African people to make way for an all-white South Africa. In their stride to achieve this, the laws they imposed on them made their lives harder; despite this, the persecuted sought freedom. Through all this some believe that the apartheid was easily ended. It can be argued this from the fact of how everything transpired to the ultimate downfall of the apartheid from outside and inner pressures. However this outcome took time and the process to ending it was a difficult one with many counter actions, but still they continued to fight and from that it can be seen that apartheid was not easily ended. Although people can argue that the ending of the apartheid was an easy process, there is substantial evidence to prove that the ending took place through a long period of time with many leaders, groups, and African people working together to fight against the South African government.
The fight fought by the African people to end the apartheid can lead some to think it was easily ended. It is possible to think this due to the actions done throughout the fight. During this time there was about 19 million non whites in South Africa and only about 4.5 million whites from this it can be deterred that the movement against the apartheid had more people compared to the people that
