In The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin by Benjamin Franklin and Blaine McCormick we got a wonderful look into the life of Benjamin Franklin. In his story he taught use a lot about the world of business and how to run a successful business. In this essay I will be talking about some of the few things Ben Franklin said that really stood out to me and what I think they meant. Then, I will talk about his inventions and how those inventions had evolved today. Then, I will talk about Ben Franklin 13 secrets to Business and what they mean to me and how they relate to modern day business. Finally, I will talk about my view on opining a business and how by reading Benjamins Franklin’s auto biography opened my eyes to new possibilities.

When reading Benjamin Franklin’s autobiography, Benjamin Franklin said something that really stood out to me that I wanted to share with you. The first thing he said was “You may delay, but time will not” (Franklin). When I read this the first thing that came to mine was when you think of an invention and there isn’t another invention out there that just like your invention. If you put it off time will not wait on you and someone else might think of the invention and roll it out before you do. The next thing he said was “early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise” (Franklin).
