The two stories, “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell, and “Lobo: the King of Currumpaw” by Ernest Thompson Seton, both have two characters with major similarities and differences. I’ve recently watched a film in my English class you starred in called Trumbo. For this type of historical film, even as a teenager, it was truly enjoyable. At first, I didn’t think that it would appeal to me as much as it did. You’re a remarkable actor and I have always admired your work! He also wrote about Irish peasant life and captured the struggles of the Irish Civil War. His best known novel is “The Informal”, and it talks about a betrayal set during the Irish Troubles.

The next song, “Oopsey Daisey My Sweetheart” was the piece that Dr. Carol Williams wrote. I liked the melodies and harmonies overall. It was very interesting music piece. I wish I could get a contact with her and wanted to ask a few questions about this piece of music. Also the singer, Martha Jane Weaver, sang this song great that both the singer, write of the music, and the player received a great attention from the audiences.

As this was a cover version, King probably intended for there to be a specific focus on guitar improvisation, as there are 3 different solo sections in the song.

These preexisting sounds make this song sound alien to the music from today; as a result, the music ends up reminding the listener of similar music from the 1960s. For instance, the drum beat throughout the song “Be My Baby” hits only on the fourth beat which is primarily heard in Latin music. This gives the beat more pull whenever the snare beat finally comes around, as opposed to the snare being hit on the second and fourth beat. Furthermore, the castanets played throughout this song sound very Latin. In our age of electronic music, we typically use other electronic sounds in the background take the place of castanets.
