Did you know the pit bull has less bite force than an average domestic dog? I will be telling you why pitbulls should be pets. I will tell you about their characteristics, bite force, and why they shouldn’t get banned. Pit bulls are great dogs for their working ability.

Pit bulls have been commonly mistaken to be vicious dogs. A good opinion,why pitbulls should be allowed to be kept as pets because they are very well behaved. Pit bulls are number two rated for the best behaved dog. Pit bulls are number one rated for the best family dogs. Pit bulls are extremely easy to take care of. Pit bulls are so nice that most people think that they could definitely beat a stuffed animal as being more likely to be cuddled with because they are so nice and soft.

Did you know there was a pitbull that served in WW2? Did you know pitbulls were work dogs? Did you know lots of dogs are mistaken for pitbulls? Or did you know pitbulls are being band in a lots of states?

99% of issues that arise with pit bulls have to do with owners who are idiots. The truth is that this breed has many good traits. A super-dog, if you will. And although the media focuses on the negative aspects, in reality they can be awesome pets for the smart owner. Here are six reasons why:

Dogs are regularly called “man’s best friend”, however, there is one dog breed that is not getting much love, which is the Pitbull. Pitbull’s are notorious for attacking children and adults without warning and they are labeled the most aggressive dog breed for the past few decades. Some areas of the United States have even banned this particular breed from coming within city limits. However, the breed is bouncing back after a few decades of continuous bad rep. There are activist that state it is the owners, not the dog breed because aggression is learned. Pitbull's are a misunderstood dog breed that is feared because of their supposedly bad temperament and aggression; while in actuality, Pitbull’s are some of the most loving, loyal, and dedicated dogs that anyone could ask for.

Have you ever been face to face with a Pitbull that is ready to attack that will potentially cause sever damage to your body or confronted by one that is ready for love and sweet affection? This all depends on how they are raised. One must remember that an animal is a reflection of their owners attitudes and training.

“They’re dangerous.” “Baby killers.” “They’re jaws are too strong.” “They’re way too aggressive.” “All pit bulls are dangerous and should be put down.” These are some of the many things that people say about pit bulls, that really aren’t true. There are a lot of unnecessary laws that we should get rid of. In Ohio, the law says that owners have to keep your pit bull on your property, and if someone walks the pit bull, it has to be muzzled. People have to keep the dog on a chain link leash, and only an adult who is able to control the dog is allowed to walk him/her. One is not allowed to take your pit bull to a dog park, even with a muzzle and a leash, which is pretty much saying that they are not allowed to socialize and play with other dogs.

Pit bulls have been given a bad reputation over the years as untrustworthy, ill-tempered dogs, whose behavior may transform at an indiscriminate moment. While the slowly expanding owners of this breed continuously fight that reputation with cute posts, blogs, videos, etc. of their beloved furry baby just being your everyday companion. My Pit bull however, is not doing much for the cause. Her name is Lexi, she is a ten year old black and bronze brindle that has grown into a jealous, stubborn dog that has become disobedient in her old age. My dog, Lexi is on the fence for a bad reputation.
