The Beauties of Islamic Art
Islamic art is beautiful in so many different ways. The delicate and discreet, yet graceful look of a woman’s Hijab. Or the pristine architecture of the mosques and how the writings and paintings tell stories of Islam and Muslim belief. Beginning with the life of the Prophet Muhammad and continuing to the present day. The origin of Islam can be traced back to 7th century Saudi Arabia. Islam is one of the youngest religions.
The prophet Muhammad introduced Islam in 610 A.D. after experiencing what he believed to be an angelic visitation. Muhammad dictated the Qur 'an, the holy book of Islam, which Muslims believe to be beforehand, perfect words of Allah. Islamic art generally refers to arts that are profits of the Muslim world, diverse cultures that historically extended from Spain to Southeast Asia. Islamic art has both a wide historical range and broad geographical spread, including North Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and part of South and Southeast Asia as well as eastern and sub-Saharan Africa. The Muslim identity, captured in their attitude, geographical locations, and religious ideals, contribute greatly to the beauty and aesthetics of Islamic Art.
