When brushing isn’t possible, chewing gum is a great way to help keep teeth clean and healthy after eating or drinking. It also significantly increases your attention span, information intake, and reflex speed. Chewing gum is beneficial to people, especially students. It helps kids pay better attention in class and not zone out, helps keep teeth clean and healthy after eating and drinking, and chewing gum helps reduce hunger and diminish cravings for sweets and stops overeating.
Gum helps kids pay better attention in class and not zone out. Gum improves aspects of memory which can be a good pro for kids to remember the lesson. It increases alertness when chewed constantly. Tests by scientists have proved better cognitive function in the brain when gum is chewed. The people who didn’t chew gum throughout these tests had no change in alertness and had very short attention spans. Different flavors and their potency reduce stress as well as the flavor and pleasant chewing. It is proven to reduce stress which is a constant distraction to people who can’t concentrate. Other positive affects that help students pay better attention in class is the distraction from talking and other nonproductive activities. Gum can help us with the nonproductive or low attention spanned students in classes and can be more beneficial for their grades.
