The benefits of twisted pair cable Benefits for changing the network structure Peer-to-peer networks do not have any dedicated server. All the computers in the network act as both server and client. These networks are easy to set up but are not suitable for an organization that is growing. Peer-to-peer networks are best suited for small business and organizations that have a maximum of ten computers. The best network type for Ocper, Inc would be a client-server network. This network model would be more centralized and allow for easy control of files and access. Client-server models use a dedicated server to supply all the computers on the network with information(Marucheck & Sulek, 1987). This model is easy to manage and has less risk of attack. Peer-to-peer networks have no central security, and a person does not have control over what they share with others. With the planned growth of the organization, there is a need for them to control the files employees share and limit access to this files. A client-server network has much more security as a person cannot access any files on the server before they provide a valid set of username and password. Centralized networks are more stable as a failure of one computer on the network does not affect the other computers. Using twisted pair cable over coaxial cable The current network at Ocper, Inc is using coaxial cable. These cables are difficult to install, more expensive than twisted pair cable, not easy to bend them around
