He woke up and ran downstairs ready to munch on some breakfest. He saw his mom making bacon and eggs (his favorite). After he ate his breakfast he was excited to get a call from his best friend John who had a lot of questions. Finally John asked,“Can you go to the amusement park today?” Jerry replied fast as lightning, “I’ll ask my Mom.”Jerry bolted out of his room to the living room. He finds his mom lying on the couch and asks her can he go. His mom replied, “Yes but you need to pay for your ticket and do your chores.” Jerry ran up the stairs and started cleaning his room. As we are nearing our destination our bus driver yells out “I am going to stop at this gas station and fill up.” When our bus driver came back onto the bus he exclaimed “The gas station is out of gasoline so we will stay here overnight.” Then, everyone in the bus started grunting and moaning. “But guys we can make this fun if we tell stories to pass the time, Here, I will start.” I said. And we began telling each other our stories.
Riding in the van on the way home from a day in the scorching hot sun, a smile on my face appears, and it does not seem to leave. My stomach begins to tighten from the endless laughter of our coach, Mark’s, atrocious driving skills. Looking back, I realize how influential that day was on my entire tennis season. Lindsey Vonn, an American alpine ski racer, once said “It’s amazing. Life changes very quickly, in a positive way, if you let it.” It is amazing how one day can change everything, and thinking about that one day can still make you smiles months or even years after. I have a day like that, one that never fails to squash the fear or misery I feel. My special day was this past fall at the first tennis tournament of the season; it is funny how it all started with a twelve-year-old girl, a tennis racquet, and a last minute change that I would describe as the best mistake.
Sally has a garden that she loves. Her garden was the most important thing to her in the world other than receiving a baby from God. Her garden had beautiful flowers and herbs that you could see from a little window at the back of their house. But this time when she goes to the garden, there's a guy that she thinks is cute. The guy comes over to her and says, “My name is Sal Frade.”
It wasn't my greatest moment. As a matter of fact, it's one of my biggest regrets. I wasn't what you would call a great child. Heck, I certainly wasn't what you would call a great person. Teachers and other parents would constantly refer to me a “Burnout.” I was known for theft, lying, and not listening to authority, and most figured I would be in and out of jail for the rest of my life. “Why the hell should I listen to anyone, if all they are going to do is turn their back on me,” I would silently think to myself. I was getting all of this negativity, and I hadn't even hit high school yet. It wasn't until I was 13, that I did the unspeakable, and almost proved everyone right.
Tanya was feeling very sad about recent events. First, her dad, Thomas Halter, lost his job, then she told her friends about it and they felt bad for her and were going to bring her to the mall. Next her dad got a new job and they had to move somewhere near the Buckingham Palace. Lastly her dog, Rufus, got very sick and hasn't been eating very much food, which is causing him to be very skinny. She started to sob, but then her mom came in and helped to comfort her. Tanya decided to spend the rest of her time outside with her dog and friends. She grabbed the leash and called Rufus, he came bounding around the corner, happy to see her. Her little brother, Richard, came around the corner and asked if he could go too, she got very annoyed. Tanya said, "No, I am going with my friends, unless you want to play in the clothing store while we play with all the clothes." "I am okay, I can stay with mom." said Richard.
We all have moments that impact our lives whether it is good or bad. Some gives us lesson and others make us the happiest person alive. Whichever it is those moments makes us grow and learn or makes us be proud of ourselves. I chose to pick memorable moments that really change my life for the best which as we speak it has been the one of my proudest moments.
Everyone needs some form of escape from reality. While this varies from person to person, with the entertainment business booming, it is safe to infer that many find their comfort with movie theatres. Many of these people like to be engulfed by the story of their movie. My escape, however, comes from just being inside the theatre. There is something magical about theatres that keeps bringing me back.
I’m so sorry that I couldn’t journey through life with you like an ordinary mother and child. I’m sorry that I couldn’t lead you through life. I’m sorry that I couldn’t be there for you when times were tough. I’m sorry that I left you as soon as you were born but I had no choice. The day you were born was the best day of my life, truly, I finally knew what it meant to become a mother and it was astounding how much responsibility I suddenly had on my shoulders.
As I get nearer and nearer to the place of my birth, Lisbon Portugal, I take solace in knowing that soon, Elizabeth, I shall be with you, and our children once again. There were many a time that I feared I would never see you again. I never lost faith, however, and continued to pray no matter what hardships I encountered, and the good Lord in all his power, glory, and wisdom decided that it was not yet time for me to receive His holy judgement. In those moments where it seemed that death was inevitable, the thought of your face, your beauty, and our love, kept me alive Elizabeth. For this I thank you.
ld meet someone who will always be there for me and love me for who I am. Every time I think of that day it reminds me of how lucky I am. My greatest love was to be a mother and have a loving and devoted husband who gives me support in difficult times. I wanted someone who had strength, knowledge, and compassion. This is the reason I married my husband, Sergey, who did all those things for me and more. He is a good person with great attributes. I am also grateful that I had parents who took care of me when I left to go to America. They were my support when I needed it. It was hard leaving them because I had lived with them throughout my life. My parents made me who I am today. I know they raised me well and I am thankful for all they have done. My husband's parents have given me compassion and welcomed me with open arms. For that I will always be reminded of how I should raise my children. I wanted to have a baby, which would be the greatest day of my life. When I gave birth to my daughter, Rosie, I felt as if something in my life forever changed. The day she looked at me was a day I will never forget. For a mother it was as if the world was an entirely different place. It felt like I was in heaven.
Thursday, September 15, 2016 was the best day of my life. Earlier that day, I handed in a paper titled Passions and Desires. However little did I know, that God was going to reveal incredible things to me and the passions and desires I had written about where going to align with God’s kingdom. Thursday, September 15, 2016 was the day I experienced God’s kingdom and His shalom here on earth so beautifully and perfectly.
The first time I went to states was in 9 years old in 2013 I went two and two and out, but was the greatest day of my life it was awesome. First it’s the day of the weigh-ins and i 'm going for 55 pounds and it is you do and wrestle or you don 't and you go home. I have been cutting weight to make it all week and me and my dad are in line, first the check you in and you get a ticket then you go. Soon before I know it i 'm up and it is cold and i’m in shorts and i 'm freezing and of course so hungry but then I step on the scale and I make it 53.2. After I get into something warmer, thank goodness and we go and they give your stuff to get in tomorrow and then we go to my favorite place Steak and Shake. Then we go to get a hotel room and they
With all the thoughts hitting me at once and hearing the sobbing coming from mom I was scared. I didn 't know what happened or who all was involved I just wanted my big brother. I wanted him to be okay. I couldn 't remember the last conversation we had if it was good or bad but whatever it was I didn 't want it to be our last. I couldn 't lose him, he is the one who taught me everything, and he was always there. He always made me laugh. If I lost him what would I do? What would our little brother do? What would my parents do?
