Romeo and Juliet was a story between two people who loved each other but couldn't be together because their families hate each other. The main people to blame is Romeo and Juliet and her parents, for the death of romeo and Juliet and the destruction of Verona. Some of the reason of the destruction of Verona and deaths of Romeo and Juliet were that Romeo went to the Capulet party, also when Romeo fights then kills Tybalt and Juliet doesn't want to marry Paris. When Romeo goes to the Capulet party he meets Juliet and they fall in love.If Romeo never went to the party he would have not meet Juliet. If Juliet did not talk to Romeo after the nurse told her that he was a Montague she would have not disobey her parents. Her parent are also to blame for, they could have been together if they didn't have issue with each other families .In the text its say” If I profane with my unworthiest hand This holy shrine, the gentle sin is this My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss.”( i.v.92-96 ).In other words Romeo grabs Juliet hand and kisses her. Romeo was also to blame because he Could had also brought Juliet with him to Mantua and live together. In the reading it says “that is not slander , sir which is a truth and what I spake, I spake it to my face “.(iv.i.34-35) In other words this means that she doesn't want to get married with Paris and it's the truth. If lord Capulet(Juliet's dad) didn't force Juliet to get married, she would have never ask friar laurence for help and give her a plan that was almost successful but cause their
In Conclusion, there are people to take the blame. It all started with the undisputed hatred between two families which had a negative effect on Romeo, a Montague and Juliet, a Capulet. The death of family members in Capulet and Montague intensified the energy of being enraged. Juliet’s parents thought it was the best for her to marry Paris, but that made the situation even worse. She wanted to get away and escape with Romeo, yet that did not happen because of the letter not being sent due to quarantine. Mostly the families and destiny led Romeo and Juliet, the two star-crossed lovers, to their
Romeo and Juliet is one of Shakespeare's plays about tragedy. It is about two lovers who commit suicide when their feuding famillies prevent them from being together. The play has many characters, each with its own role in keeping the plot line. Some characters have very little to do with the plot but some have the
Romeo and Juliet was a renowned play based on two lovers, Romeo and Juliet, who came from two opposing families but fell deeply in love with each other. Although the play contained scenes of both love and death, Romeo and Juliet is not solely based on one, but rather how both themes intertwined with each other. Once Romeo and Juliet had established their relationship, it brought about their fate of an untimely death. Subsequently, the death of Tybalt not only aggravated the feud between the two families, but it strengthened and established Juliet’s love for Romeo. Furthermore, it was Romeo and Juliet’s death that finally resolved the argument between the two noble families,
Romeo is to blame for Juliet’s and his own death, because when he was banned from Verona, he could have found someone else in Mantua.
Juliet is to blame for her death and Romeo’s death because she ends up liking this Montague. His name was Romeo Montague. Juliet was told by the nurse that she couldn’t be with him because of her last name. She knew that if she is with him that it would lead to some tragedy. Juliet was so upset and disturb because of her parents and she began to cry out, “Prodigious
What is most responsible for the two lovely lover-Romeo and Juliet’s death? In my opinion, there is no one particular person to really blame on their death. However, it is every single person are should be blamed for the deaths of both Romeo and Juliet. If I was answering the question of who were the few most responsible people for their tragedy-it would be three people. Because of people’s decision and different point of view, the people most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet are Lady Capulet, Nurse, and Friar Lawrence.
could do about it, we can see this opinion from Romeo in Act one Scene
It is Romeo and Juliet's fault that they died. Romeo and Juliet fell in love after at least an hour of seeing each other, and that is way too fast to be falling in love with someone. Romeo kisses Juliet and that is where he went wrong. He should have never done that because that is what starts most of the problems. There are many reasons to why most people would think that it was Romeo and Juliet's fault for their own deaths.
Losing a close friend is always a very hard process. For me throughout this year losing my closest friend was very hard. Even though there is blame on both people since friendships require effort from both people, I understand Romeo’s rage and need for vengeance after losing Mercutio. Romeo and Juliet was written by William Shakespeare and is a story about forbidden love set in Verona, Italy in the 1500’s. Romeo falls in love with Juliet and marries her, and they’re very happy together until it’s all ruined over their families feud. Lives were taken and hearts were broken, leading to a tragic ending where the two lovers would rather take their own lives than not be together. Even though Romeo and Juliet killed themselves
Romeo should be blamed for his and Juliet’s death because he was impulsive and didn’t think before he acted. This is represented in the play in various forms. For instance, “Can I go forward when my heart is here? Turn back, dull earth, and find thy centre out.” (Rom. 2.1.1-2). This exemplifies that Romeo carelessly and impulsively leapt over the Capulet wall to go meet Juliet at night. He did not think of the dangers his actions could possess, but rather if he would be with Juliet. Another example of Romeo’s thoughtless behavior was when Romeo fought with Tybalt. “Either thou or I, or both, must go with him,” (Rom. 3.1.130). This shows that Romeo was ready to kill Tybalt or die doing it himself just to avenge
Everybody knows the story of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare and how they died. However, people are not exactly sure who is to to blame for their deaths. The people to really blame for their deaths are themselves, Romeo and Juliet. They were very impulsive and overly dramatic causing them to make dumb decisions that led to their death.
Many people are to blame in the tragedy of the novel, Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet are from two families, the Capulets and the Montagues who have past rivalries and do not associate with each other. Romeo and Juliet rush into marriage and Friar Laurence has an idea to help them be together. Many are responsible for the tragic outcome including the Capulets, the Montagues, and Romeo and Juliet, Tybalt, Mercutio and the prince.
The main reason why Romeo has partial responsibility for the tragedy is because he was very impulsive. Romeo took the relationship between Juliet and him to far to fast. They got married barely a day after meeting. At the beginning of the play Romeo was lovesick
Romeo and Juliet is a romantic story about two people that fall in love. At a ball, Romeo and Juliet meet each other and claim they fell in love instantly and if it hadn’t been for Romeo going over to Juliet to ask her to dance they would never have had to experience such burdensome situations. He puts ideas into Juliet’s mind, like getting married which he convinces her to do. Romeo murdered Juliet’s cousin, that gives her family yet another reason to loathe Romeo so much. These are all actions Romeo does which cause more problems. The two lover’s family despise each other and would never approve their marriage. Many of their problems are formed by Romeo. Both, Romeo and Juliet were wrong to fall for each other so quickly, but I blame Romeo
The Story of Romeo and Juliet influence the title for great tragedy. Friar Lawrence established much of the conflicts and deaths as he interfered with the Capulets and Montagues. Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is a famous well-known tragedy about two star-crossed lovers that were forbidden to be together by the feud between both of their families. The deaths of these two lovers ultimately reconciled their feuding families at the end, but there is one individual behind this catastrophic event. The blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet rests with Friar Lawrence: Friar marrying Romeo and Juliet, Friar giving Juliet the sleeping potion, and Friar being unable to get the message about Juliet’s “death” across to Romeo are three contributing factors.
