Twin Towers as known as World Trade Center in New York, U.S.A. were opened on April 4, 1973, and were destroyed in the 2001. Twin towers were one of the largest trading buildings in the world. Lot’s of people worked for it and visited there. They had almost controlled U.S. economy when they were existed. However, they got attacked on Setember, 2001. The attacks were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group Al-Qaeda on the United States on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001. The attacks consisted of suicide attacks used to target symbolic U.S. landmarks. Due to the attacks many bad effects were occured. First, hundreds of thousands of tons of toxic debris containing more than 2,500 contaminants, including known carcinogens, were spread across Lower Manhattan due to the collapse of the Twin Towers. And this toxic debris led to allocating $4.2 billion to create the World Trade Center Health Program. Second, the attacks had a significant economic impact on U.S.A. and world markets. The stock exchanges didn’t open until September 17, 2001. It dropped the value of U.S. dollars. Third, as a result of the attacks, many governments across the world passed legislation to combat terrorism. They did much more care of terrorists than before 9/11 attacks. Seeing these situations, we can notice how 9/11 attacks were.
