Twenty years after WWI, there came another great war. This war was more gruesome and bloodier than the first. There were many causes and effects to WWII. One of many causes to this war is the nationalism that took place. Both Hitler and Mussolini preached nationalism to their countries. Mussolini promised Italy that they would be as great as the Roman Empire. Both of these leaders thought that they were superior.
Another cause was the imperialism, which meant land and resources were taken from courtiers that were weak. There was also militarism that glorified the war by making larger armies, and developed more weapons. The treaty of Versailles was made after WWI in the year of 1919. The U.S never joined the league and no one to its terms,
