There were two main events which affected people’s lives easily. Those events were devastating. Many people lost lives, homes, some starved, and other things which changed people’s life. Those two dates are still remembered. On December 7, 1941 the attack on pearl harbor and on September 11, 2001 was the 9/11 attack. Still devastated for what happened and sad for all those who died.

On December 7,1941 the attack on pearl harbor happened. Americans mindset had changed at that moment. The attack altered the perception of the country. Fear swept across the country thinking that this could happen again. It was a time of infamy because it killed so many people and left lots of damage. Those people who weren’t preparing to enter the war found other endeavors to support the war effort. Many people promised or engaged themselves to sell war bonds to provide money for the government to pay for the war. War plants were in operation and many people would move away from their homes to work their and earn money. Finding cloths was also a problem because factories were usually making clothing for the military or simply didn’t have enough clothing for everyone. September 11, 2001, another tragedy happened. The republicans blamed the democrats for causing the crashes of the planes into a tower. They also provoked an immense effort by the democrats. When you travel, they have more security. Now they also have to take of their shoes in to go through the airport security. Many lives
