The Christianity Religion: Judaism Vs. Islam

Since the dawn of man, millions of people around the world coming from all kinds of diverse cultures and different backgrounds have been born into a family where some sort of religion is practiced. Fortunately, in the modern day here in the United States, we are free to worship and practice any religion we please. Two of the main religions in the United States and North America in general is Judaism and Christianity. It goes without saying that these two religions do have a lot in common, which is mostly due to the fact that Judaism was the forefather of Christianity. The main base is the same for both religions, the Old Testament.

In conclusion, Christians see God as one person in three persons while the Jews view God as one person. Both Christianity and Judaism have the same origin based on Abraham. The difference came when the Jews did not believe Jesus because He was not the expected Messiah. Christianity is the religion of most people. They believe in Jesus being the son of God and their savior. To sum this up, both religions believe in one God, share the Old Testament, and belief in life after death, heaven and hell. For many years, people around the world practiced different types of religions. But the dominant religion in America is Christianity and Judaism.  Religions like Judaism and Christianity were very important to Christians and Jews, even though these two religions have somethings in common. They still differ from each other with the history, basic beliefs, and the influence on law and social justice. What makes these two religions similar? Judaism and Christianity are a monotheistic religion, which mean they believe in one God. They both believed in the same God and recognized one day out of the week as a holy day.

It is told that Christianity derived from the Jewish practices. Those who left the religion to practices to the new rapidly growing religion Christianity, left due to the strict leaders and it’s strict practices in rituals. Within the Jewish seen Jesus as the Messiah, a prophet but not the Son of Christ. The rejection and the crucifixion of Jesus caused the disagreement between the two religion practices, leading those who practiced into Christianity labeled as rebels. But how is it that religion that derived from one practice differ so much, but enables toward the same starting bases of the Apostolic period and it’s churches?

Judaism, Islam, and Christianity are some of the religions that most individuals can relate to, being the three largest religions in the world. Like many religions they share many differences and also some similarities. One difference that these religions hold is their view of Jesus Christ. Similarities are surprisingly common to find among some religions because of the basis they put on one another. Some similarities between these religions include: belief of monotheism and the influence of Zoroastrianism had on each religion. Also another similarity carried out by these three religions would be the significance of Abraham. Some other differences include: religious texts and also how they approach God in prayer.

Christianity is one of the most dominant religions in the world today and has a long and complex history. Although Christianity has its roots in Judaism, it was greatly influenced by the culture of the Greeks and Romans it developed in. The Greco-Roman world was polytheistic and full of deities that were petty and faulted. As a young religion Christianity shares aspects with the religions around it, namely in the central stories. Eventually Christianity spread through the Roman Empire and to the rest of the world.

There are over 4,200 world religions that exist today, however, the main five are Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism. Although, they all share many similarities, each are unique in their own way. Christianity and Islam are among the most well known religions. The two have multiple morals and teachings in common, as well as, many contrasting morals.

Christianity believes there is only one God, God is all knowing, He is all powerful, God is present everywhere, righteous and just, and most of all He is love (ThoughtCo, 2018). This leads to another point in their belief, Jesus Christ is God who became a man that was sinless and perfect, born of a virgin and Jesus is the only way to God the Father (ThoughtCo, 2018).

Judaism and Christianity are two of the oldest religions known to man, with both developing out of the country if Israel. One of the biggest differences between the two religions is who Christ was, and his purpose in life. However, they share common ground when it comes to their belief in God and his teachings. In fact, Christianity would not exist without Judaism, as it the foundation that Christianity is based on. Judaism is the first and oldest religion, and because of this Judaism has a direct influence on Christianity and Islam as well. While the two religions might have their own take on the later events in the bible, they are much alike. Judaism is similar to Christianity in several ways as both religions share similar beliefs, and practice similar rituals.

The religion Christianity is grounded through the wisdom and miracles of Jesus Christ. Many may call him Jesus or Christ but in actuality Jesus is Christ which means anointed one. Jesus Christ was no average person, he is the God the Father who came to this world and fulfilled the Old Testament laws and prophecies, died on the cross, and rose from the dead physically. As savior that came on earth to restore his people he performed many miracles which were recorded in the Gospels by the eyewitnesses. Jesus Christ is the divine in nature as well as human. Thus, he has two natures and is worthy of worship and prayer. Christianity teaches that there is only one God in all existence. Although philosophies have tried to prove otherwise the reality is that God made the universe, the Earth, and created man starting with Adam and Eve. According to Genesis 1:27 it states that “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them”. Image means the likeness of God 's character, rationality, etc. Since we are made in the image of God, every person has an opportunity to be more like him less like sinful ways of the world.

Christians believe in one all Holy God,the Holy Book, and God knows all. This religion is monotheistic. Christianity and Islam are alike because they both believe that practicing their faith brings peace and harmony, brings blessings in life and practicing their faith is good for them

Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all accept that God is the origin and source of all beings. They also believe that, God cares about the well-being of all. With God's grace we have an advantage to be more like what we ought to be. Also, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam consider human beings as the children of Abraham. Above all, God created us with potential in order for us to grow, both as a nation and as individuals. We become more like what God intended human goodness to be when we grow in love, goodness, and righteousness.

Christianity is a religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus. Christians share a set of beliefs that are important to their faith, they believe that God created the universe, God is a single ruler, Jesus is the son of God, Jesus suffered and was crucified for our sins and Heaven and Hell. Christian’s believe that when Jesus died and was resurrected that they will be resurrected after they die and brought into the Kingdom of Heaven, they also believe that when Jesus was resurrected it was the

Islam and Christianity have a lot in common than most people recognize. Analyzing both religions in pre-modern, modern, and post-modern to see where their similarities lie and what makes them so different. Pre-modernist are people who hold strong conservative beliefs and still believe in the old fairy-tail belief systems that have been proved wrong. They also reject certain advances in technology and favor the old way of doing things. Modernism is a decided exertion with respect to the individuals who have lost their own faith in the divine origin of the Holy Scriptures to persuade others regarding their perspectives. In post-modernism philosophy, they believe society is in a constant state of change. They have no real version of reality, no outright truth. Post-modern religion strengthens the individual's perspective and it weakens the religions strengths that deal with open-minded realities.
