Scott Sundin is an experienced pastor with a very detailed past in ministry. As a brief glance into his past, he served as a missionary for Awana Clubs for the first ten years of his ministry career. After that, he entered into his pastoral ministry at a church called Blue Ridge Bible Church. There, he knows everyone by name and becomes good friends with everyone he meets. He believes that his lifelong goal should be to honor and please God by doing His commands on earth, reaching out to people and teaching them the truth of God’s Holy Word through the gifts the Lord has given Him. He currently lives in Kansas City, Missouri with his wife. He has two sons, one daughter, and one grandchild.
Doctrinal and Spiritual Pastor Scott Sundin’s doctrinal and spiritual stances regarding missions are clear and well-defined. For one, he believes that the obligation of the church for world evangelization is to “send, facilitate, and equip”. He explained how the church should be responsible for as much as they can when it comes to the preparation of a missionary for the field. First of all, he, along with his church, try to support missions as much as financially possible. Then, they begin to teach the methods of evangelism and about the mission field to those in the congregation who are ready for missions. Lastly, Pastor Scott feels that the church equips each individual for the field once they are ready for it. He recounts that this is one area where he wishes he could be more involved,
