The definition of “Cloud”, also called cloud computing, is an Internet-based computing that storing, accessing and processing data, resources, and programs on a free or pay-for-use basis to computers and other devices. Late in 1990s, the term “Cloud” was used to present shared resources and data over the Internet between the provider and the end user. History During the 1960s, the initial concepts of time-sharing became popularized. Using virtualization software, such as VMware, it became possible to execute one or more operating systems simultaneously in the insolate environment. Some complete computers were able to be executed an inside physical hardware which could run a completely different operating system. Beginning in the 1990s, the telecommunication company, who previously only offered primarily dedicated point-to-point data circuits, began to offer virtualized private network (VPN) service which had same service quality as dedicated service, but with a lower cost. Instead of building out physical infrastructure to allow for more users to have their own connections, telecommunication companies were capable to provide users with shared access to the same physical infrastructure. During the second half of 1990s, telecommunication companies began to gain a better understanding of cloud computing and provided superior solutions and services to customers while drastically improving internal efficiencies.
