Abstract
This research paper mainly focuses on the concepts of Total Quality Management and its implementation in the construction field. This paper would mainly concentrates on the construction field and would focus on the various aspects of Quality, Popular standards of quality. Then it starts with the concept of Total Quality Management, Necessity of the concept of Total Quality Management.
This paper would even focuses on the Deming’s principles related to Total Quality Management and it briefly describes the success factors which drive through the success of implementing Total Quality Management in a construction company.

Overview on Construction Industry
The Construction Industry plays a vital role in shaping the growth of the economy of any country. As the construction industry undertakes the projects dealing with the buildings, roads, schools, hospitals etc which constitutes the growth of the economy. The construction industry mainly works closely to some of the other industries like the soil industry, cement industry, brick industry and so on. So if the construction industry involves in the various projects, all the other industries would even enhance their growth in the same proportion.
Unlike all the various industries, construction industry would mainly work on the labor. In this particular industry, the completion of the work would mainly depend upon the number of employees working in the particular project.
According to the author Turk (2006), the main aim or the main purpose of the construction industry is increase the productivity of the entire industry by accepting various projects related to the new construction works or to maintain the old construction works which had been already built.
