This contract between REES RECORDS and THE NICK PARISI BAND (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") executed and effective this 14th day of April, 2016, by and between The Nick Parisi Band (hereinafter referred to as the "Artist") and Rees Records(hereinafter referred to as the "Company"):
IT IS HEREBY UNDERSTOOD
a. Company is a record label, specializing in the management, recording, recording distribution and representation of musical artists;
b. Company is familiar with the music and brand of Artist and has the knowledge, industry contacts and resources to assist Artist in the furtherance of their career.
c. Artist performs under the name "The Nick Parisi Band";
d. Company and Artist wish to enter into this Agreement to provide for

4. ARTISTIC CONTROL. Artist shall be responsible for all decisions regarding the artistic content of the Record.
5. DATES AND LOCATION OF RECORDING SESSIONS. The recording sessions necessary to produce the Record shall occur at studios chosen by the Artist in Boston, Massachusetts, commencing in September, 2016 and ending in December, 2016. The Company reserves final veto power if the chosen recording studio is either of unreasonable cost or undesirable quality.
6. ADDITIONAL MUSICIANS. Company shall compensate any additional musicians that the Artist chooses to feature on the Record, limited to one (1) guest artist per song. Company may recover such costs pursuant to Section B3. herein.
7. TITLE. The title of the Record shall be chosen by the Artist, with the Company reserving the right to veto any titles that can be seen as graphic, obscene, or lewd.
8. COMPLETION AND RELEASE. The Record shall be completed and prepared for release and distribution on or before February, 2017. Company and Artist are expected to exercise all reasonable means of completing this record by the aforementioned deadline.
9. ASSIGNMENT OF EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS BY ARTIST. Upon the timely completion of the Record, Artist shall assign to the Company all of their rights,and title, to the following property, for commercial distribution in the United States:

For album royalties some bands will split the money evenly, even if they 're only playing a tambourine or not playing on some songs on an album. Sometimes, like in the case of U2, they split the royalties evenly, no matter who wrote it. There is no set way to divide royalties.
