Hollywood VS Bollywood. There are various Bollywood movies, which were pristinely made in Hollywood. Simply taking a Hollywood script and making it in Bollywood for Indian audience will not work until unless you integrate an Indian touch to the script (Rao, 2010). In Hollywood movies, it is often found that a lot of movies have an open end for its sequel or sometimes portraying the evil as unvanquishable or triumpher (Rothman, 1996). Bollywood movies end with evil being vanquished or issues in the movie being solved with a blissful ending, (Nayar, 1997). I will study the difference between the Movie Pretty Woman (1990) and it’s Bollywood version Chori Chori Chupke Chupke (2001). I will identify and examine the cultural difference between these two movies. Pretty woman (1990) and Chori Chori Chupke Chupke (2001) Richard Gere (Edward) and Julia Roberts (Vivian) starred in the Pretty Woman (1990). Gere played a role as a wealthy businessman and Roberts played a role of a quirky and charming prostitute. Vivian escorted Edward to a hotel and offered her to stay with him to remain his companion sexually and otherwise for a week. He offered her 3000 dollars and lavish lifestyle in return. Vivian agreed to it and her wardrobe was changed. She was transformed into a lady with class and substance.
