Being homeless is found all around the world in every country. Either the people lost their house due to weather, money, or even being kicked out, being without a home is something no one should have to go through. While the Habitat for Humanity advertisement is lengthy, I argue that the advertisement effectively convinces the audience to join by donating, advocating, or volunteering through its use of logos, pathos, and ethos.

Technology has changed drastically from the 1970s to now. We have exceeded what most people back then could ever imagine. The technology used in schools, homes, and in public places has evolved into technology that makes the “cutting edge” technology of the 70s look very simple. Things such as the personal computer, the cell phone, electronic games, TVs, and even watches have changed completely. The ways that they have exceeded expectations is truly unbelievable.

Technology has changed remarkably over the last one hundred years. First, the way that we use books has changed. Another way is the way we play games. The way we communicate with each other has changed drastically over the last century as well. At this rate, with technology growing every day, we can see the “new” technology that we have right now is already being replaced with something else that is “new.”

My paper purpose is to show you how a housing authority location assist the communities with tutorial programs, Section 8, health factors, and safety, parenting classes to help people with low income to be able to rent a home at an affordable price.

Affordable housing is a key issue in New York City because affordable housing doesn’t address the needs of lower and middle-income households. The people who do need affordable housing don’t qualify for it based on governmental standards and majority of the population aren’t able to buy houses at the market price. Affordable housing programs are an essential need to many hard-working New Yorkers. Affordable housing aids adults, children, and seniors in feeling secure and stable and contributes to the mental and physical well-being of New Yorkers. The years of the early 2,000 to the time of the present were the best, and the worst of times. During the years, there was development in technology resulting in change which may be for the best, or worse. As inventions of the phone, and other technologies such as computers, email, transportation, and, videos developed throughout the years, humans had better communication. However, the result of the rise in technology may also be for the worst in the future, and present. At this time humans are no longer interact with one another, and are depending on technology, and email to talk to others instead of face to face. The Housing Development Board wanted to improve its services in three major areas including the involvement of private developers, public outreach, and overall improved customer service (Jick & Peiperl, 2011). The change challenge for HDB and Tan included improvement to the overall operations of the organization including work processes and systems. “The goal of the public outreach was to gain greater public buy-in and support while improving focus groups, particularly grassroots organization” (Jick & Pieperl, 2011, p. 432). Thus, the Estate Administration and Property Department was expected to manage majority of the operations including housing policies, pricing, and sales to name a few.
